The next mod i am planning on doing is getting the Samco intake hose and remap or some more cosmetic mods or even maybe lowering+brake pads.

  2. Hello people,i have for sale my OEM wheels with primacy tyres and i am not sure how much tread the tyres have but they could be used for track. The wheels will need refurbishment if you want use them as daily or paint them.

I have also for sale my Blitz LM Panel filter which has only cover few 100s miles, bought the panel filter and then bought the SUS Advanced intake a month later.

The asking price for the wheels are £300 but i am open to offers, would prefer collection only or we can arrange a meet up on weekend. The panel filter i can happily post and asking price is £25 including 1st class postage

    Wheels £300:

Here is my current rig which is now 4 years old (only just realised when looking for pictures). It can still play most games just about, however its struggling now so I'm just waiting for Nvidia to release the new pascal chipset before doing a complete upgrade. So tempted to just buy a new graphic card as a temporary fix while I wait.

    Processor: Intel Core i7 2600k 3.4GHZ

Motherboard: Asus P8Z68-V Pro Gen 3

Cooling: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo CPU Cooler.

    Memory: Corsair Vengeance 2x8GB DDR3 1333MHZ CAS-9

Video Card(s): Nvidia Asus GTX580 (Takes up 3 PC case slots)

    Hard Disk(s): SSD - Samsung Evo 840 512gb - Western Digital Black 2TB

Optical Drive: Some crappy old dvd drive

    Sound Card: onboard

    Headset: Logitech G430

Power Supply: Cooler Master 850W Silent Pro

    Case: Cooler Master HAF X

Monitor: Samsung 23" LED HD Monitor (1920x1080)

    Software:Windows 7 Professional 64-bit

Still up to the task and can handle new games still really  and Willi, only reason i put office is because some people like me have their gaming setup on same place as they would to do any type of work. I use my PC to do some programming if its necessary.

  4. Just thought i'll start a new topic on showing your gaming setup or office/desk setup, being a gamer is also a big hobby and quite curious to see if other people have same interest and would love to see your setup. :)

So i thought i'll start on showing my current gaming/office setup..so i currently have a Limited Edition Metal Gear Solid 4 PS4 and as for my PC specs which i've built myself are:

    Processor:Intel Core i5 4590 3.3GHZ

    Motherboard:MSI Z97-Guard Pro

Cooling:CoolerMaster Hyper 103/2x140mm Fractal Design case fans/1x120mm Fractal Design case fan

    Memory:Corsair Vengeance 2x4GB DDR 1600MHZ CAS-9

    Video Card(s):Nvidia EVGA ACX 2.0 GTX970

    Hard Disk(s):SSD - OCZ ARC 100 256GB HDD - Western Digital Black 500GB+Western Digital Green 1TB

    Optical Drive:None

    LCD/CRT Model:Samsung LS27D590CS 27 inch Curved Monitor

Case:Fractal Design Define R4 Titanium - Grey Window Version

    Sound Card:onboard/Speakers: Logitech Z-4

Power Supply:XFX Pro Semi Modular 650W

    Software:Windows 10 Professional 64-bit

  5. Definitely need to increase both the phone and headunit volume up to be able to hear it,i remember needing to put volume upto 40(50 max) on my mazda2 just to hear my mp3 player through AUX. That is assuming the AUX+USB is connected properly to the headunit if it's been changed before or touched.

  6. Not to everyone taste but i decided paint the engine cover bay yesterday while helping my bro install his pipercross induction kit to his golf gti.

The main reason is because i will be installing Blue Perrin intake hose or samco intake hose.

My next big mod i'll be doing im hoping to do next month would be getting new rims and tyres since my primacy tyres have 2mm tread left.

The wheels im planning on getting are Japan Racing JR3 in white with Kuhmo KU39 tyres in 17 inch.

At least you guys are getting these letters from a dealer from which you actually bought a car!

I simply booked a test drive over the phone at an Inchcape Toyota dealership, and I got countless emails and phone calls from them trying to flog me deals, along with a load of letters.

The funny thing is, their service was shocking. The cars I went to look at were all scratched, dirty (mouldy in some places), hadn't been prepared for my visit at all. I turned up at 10am for my appointment, and was made to wait for 40 minutes without even being acknowledged. Luckily, that gave me enough time to see just how poor their stock was.

They ended up compensating me £100 for my travel after I made a complaint (which I still don't think was enough frankly), but yet they still send me promotional marketing documents. Ridiculous.

The guys in Northampton are pretty nice the sales rep,one of them who is part of their sales manager is part of the Car Culture UK group and drives a R33 which i've seen couple times when i've been to 2 of their meets. He is also a good friend of my other friend who drives a Evo VIII.

  8. Kinda annoying when you sign a deal with the dealers they don't give you some type of form for you to opt out of promotional offers or if you want them..unless i'm blind and i didn't see it in the terms and conditions.

These sort of strategies i detest the most when signing things, since they say they don't share your "information" but some marketing ploy somehow gets them regardless and contact you about Personal injury claims or you're on some credit watch even though you don't have credit card.

The front two tyres on my car when I bought it were the original Primacy's. I bought it at around 20k miles, and they both had around 4-4.5mm of tread left. Obviously the rears wore out quicker, and they had been replaced at least once when I bought the car.

Ah okay thanks :) i bought car with 14,995 on clock and i've done roughly 18-19k now. Going be checking the tyre treads this weekend to see how much meat it has left to see if i need change soon, since my plan now is to get new rims+tyres together in couple months time.

  10. How many miles have most people got from their Primacy tyres on normal commute road and not on track? As i am not 100% sure if the tyres i have are new set when i bought the car or still same existing one on car..can't remember on top of my head if the sales rep told me if the tyres been replaced or not.

  11. In terms of handling and grip what are the benefits from going 17 to 18?? I know on weaker cars it can reduce the performance slightly because of the extra weight or something,or is it just depend on the alloy itself.

Also has anyone got the TRD wheels? If so how heavy is it compared to a different set of 18s or even the stock 17s.

Yeah Rimstyle is wrong as you can see! The wheels have been on for about 6 months - absolutely no fitment problems.

Did you need anything else with the wheels like any change of locking nut? Because i understand they do supply wheel nuts to fit them but would the stock locking nut fit these fine? Also what tyres to go for? I am very tempted to cop you Deacon and use them as my summer wheels. >_<

Rimstyle is a terrible site to use to find out if wheels fit or not.

The site says my wheels don't fit too. I think they look at centre bore size too (and forget that things called spigot rings exist).

Best to just research wheels on other sites, even if you eventually use Rimstyle to buy them.

Ah thats cool..i'm complete noob when comes to changing wheels as i never really done it before, thanks for heads up. I was considering some Rota 18" GRA but those fox FX005 that deacon got really do look a lot nicer but i don't really want copy either. :P
