Rose joints themselves are steel. The bolt that threads into the arm is titanium you can see by the colour of the metal.

    Yes, full polybush kit.

Shouldn't believe everything you hear on the Internet

We manufacture titanium mainly for aerospace applications. Of course these are a generic "Rose joint" from another manufacturer, and not from Rose Bearings which originated the manufacture of the joint.

Had a productive Sunday installing my new Whiteline Strut brace from Tuning Developments. Easy to fit, and very light. It compliments the engine bay very well :) I do need to give the engine bay a good clean prior to Japfest, anyone recommend a good product for this?

we only need 1 cat for UK MOT purposes, it's other markets that are stricter on the emissions (particularly cold start emissions) which is why there are 2 of them and that annoying cold start up

Really beginning to sweat over mine now, ha ha. Full Alunox custom system from adamj29 and decatted apart from a 200 cell sports cat. Will it pass - god knows! ha ha.

    Paul is that you? :)

Haha I hope it's not ridiculous bad.

Yes mate - it's Paul. Sorry not to be able to make it to TD this weekend, but coming over to see Mike for a set of coilovers in three weeks time anyway. Have a great day tomorrow mate, and no doubt we shall catch up sometime this year. Your car's going to be stunning bud. :)

    Hi Ian,

The part of the bracket with the large aperture initial entry, if it  fits as pic 1, I cannot see how to screw into bodywork without bending/breaking the diffuser. Do I really have to take the whole thing off, and fit to bracket to bodywork first? Thanks for any help.

  6. Hi all,

Sorry to trouble everyone on a Sunday, but is there anybody online who could clarify exactly how the end brackets fit onto the diffuser/bodywork? I cannot believe I can't finish this off, even after looking at Ian's thread, but alas I cannot see how the damn thing fits without having to take the whole thing off to drill pilot holes.

    Any help greatly appreciated.

  7. Like Deacon, ours would always start but sometimes a bit too slowly for our liking. Pity that you had to fork out for a new one yourself, as ours was a June 13 reg and changed under warranty along with both rear light clusters for free.

Mind you, we've found Lister's Toyota in Lincoln to be an absolutely fabulous dealership. Nothing too much trouble (free valet too), and I would thoroughly recommend a visit to anyone as the service is top notch. :)

They should heat up quickly, i.e. you should start to feel it if you put it on the 'rapid heating setting', by pushing the button down on the forward position.

It's not a high position, it just heats them up. Then put them to the other position and it maintains it. I find mine excellent and use them all the time.

Mine heat up rapidly too. Can't fault them. :)
