  1. I have to be honest, now that I've had my N/A tuned '86 for 2 years, I wish I'd gone straight for the turbo. I know it's a much higher outlay up front, and the N/A package does make the car much more capable, it's just that for me personally the N/A package increase just isn't enough given how capable the car is elsewhere. It's not the right decision for everyone but if you have the money, I'd go straight for the turbo up front.

Left the other key inside the car somewhere? Think that makes a continuous tone.

I also hear that when I try and lock the car with the boot open, perhaps your boot lock could be faulty and telling the car it's still open or something?

Other key safely inside the house.

Boot lid is properly closed, and the little light inside the car showing if doors are open is unlit.

That being said, this did only start after I had my big wing fitted....

I found the Stoptech pads to be a lot quieter. I'm sure others will have other suggestions. You may find that you still get a little bit of squealing from whatever pad you fit. I'm running DS2500's (albeit on AP 4 pots up front), they do squeal a bit when I'm driving in light traffic and haven't really used the brakes, but it doesn't bother me as such.

    +1 for Stoptech.

Dicks86: at the end though all that we wrote - are just our choices that we did and by what reasoning we justified that to ourselves. It's your car, your money and it's only you who is deciding what you like/wish best :).

    ^ This.

I run 18x8.5 Rotas with 225/40/18 tyres. I know people have their opinions on reps, on widths, on rim sizes, I don't really care! My wheels have taken some serious punishment, been refurbed a few times, yet haven't let me down. I don't find the ride too hard on 18's, and there's better grip with the wider wheels.
