But don't forget, you can cast at high pressures too.. We cast alli at work with ~900 bar metal pressure..
Forging is performed when the metal is in semi solid state? (And you can cast semi solid state too to confuse things even more!)

Auto transmission fluid is an additiinal cost on the fixed price servicing so why not get it done sooner rather than later?

Guess the diesel like noise could be the injectors clacking away? Saw a vid on youtube with the injectors making alot of racket!

To be fair to the car I suppose I'm a bit ott when it comes to engive/drive line noises. I notice everything and think its a fault at first. Doing this in any other place than in the night in a totally dead work car park I probably wouldn't notice it (apart from the 'bump' I mentioned.. Felt that before).
Im guessing its the release bearing assembly engaging then hitting its end stop I'm hearing.
Just want to make sure everything is all good before the engine mods.

A little list, normal or not!!?
Stopped the car and gently raising rpm from 800-1000rpm I could hear a mild laboured diesel like noise which quickly faded after the rpm topped out to 1000. Next time I stopped it wasn't there.
On idle can feel the engine vibration slightly which 'bumps' a little now and again.. Sort of like your lawnmower running out of fuel but not as exaggerated.
Lastly. Clutch knock (only tested at standstill in neutral) when pressing releasing.
OK or go to dealer? Clutch seems like f/a as had it on other cars before..

What CRv are you getting.. New one? We just missed out on a 2015 black edition so its gonna have to be the new one.. Pity they don't still do the 2.2, had one of those in 2013 .. Hopefully the 9spd 1.6 high power is out when we change.

Your not mad. I sold my e93 m3 for a family car as the first is due in November. Got the 86.. But the Mrs has a civic and soon to be another crv.

I think the 235a will be too wide for me. I was convinced on staying 17 but the 18 do generally look better.. Why didnt they use 114.3 ffs!!

Ah hi ian, even more from the mr2 fold! great day fmdaythat wra. Think i recognise another imoc user by their car list (toni?).
Thse wheels are going to need alot of thought. Oversteer is crucial as i wanted this car to learn properly how to drive as before my priority was to keep it nice.. I still want the same for this car but to put it to more use... But at the same time i love a good stance.

They have a nice stance ti them kev, what diameter, j and offset are you running? 225 tyres?

Err.. Just tell them you have an aero and give them another cars reg if they really require it. Not difficult to get round jobsworths.
