This is the new Toyota satnav. Set into a simple one piece alcantara covered panel running right across the dash. They've really nailed it this time.

So does it fit via the original holes, or some other way?

That's a mess around the radio compared to the facelift Toyota. :-/.

I'm happy with my car on Bilsteins B14s. The ride is probably firmer than standard at low speed, but on fast bumpy B roads it's much better - feels less crashy than stock. I used to have to back off on the stock suspension. I have them as high as they'll go - I think barely 10-20mm lower than stock.
If you're in the NW you're welcome to come and compare...

I'm still thinking about tyres (currently Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 or Michelin Pilot Sport 4) but as someone who doesn't go on the track, I have some other considerations - road noise and comfort. For people who have these tyres, how do they compare with the Primacy's on both of these factors? As a bonus question, how does the load factor number actually come into play? Looking at the Goodyear, it seems there is an option of 87 or 91 with 91 giving a 'C' rating for fuel efficiency vs 'E' on the 87.By comparison, the Primacy's have an 'E' rating for fuel efficiency. Has anyone switching from the Primacy's noticed any improvement on the consumption side of things?
Do they? That's baffling as I thought one of the main points of the Primacy in its usual application was being eco-friendly?!

Before and after cheapo light mod. Happy with that - looks great from ten paces anyway. Will do nicely for now anyway and loses the far too chromey rear end...

My 48ah wint last two weeks.First time this happenend RMB Northallerton identified a faulty alarm module and replaced it under warranty.
The next time the cat was left for two weeks was last month, and the battery didn't last.
I discussed the problem with RMB who tested the battery as ok, but took in board all the evidence from the forums and put forward a request to Toyota GB to upgrade to 65ah.
Toyota came back with queries re: usage, frequency, miles/day, type of driving etc (I use the car everyday for 20mile each way commute on motorway). Following which they agreed to upgrade as a goodwill gesture. Not a warranty issue.
Going in at end of the month.
Thanks to RMB.
That's such b*llocks. But kudos to the dealer for sorting it. If the original battery was up to the job, why did they change the spec on later cars? But no matter... you're sorted. I doubt you'll have issues with the new one...

Bargain. I have the Matt black ones on mine - probably the same place and they look superb. Very OEM and it really it very easy to get the old ones off (I used a hairdryer...)

Hopefully by this time tomorrow, my car will have an UEL manifold/header and a remap Can't wait.Cleaned and waxed the car today too.
I'm sure you'll like it. Best thing I've done to mine...

It's a wonder they have any time left to fix Yarises...
A happy Sunday afternoon spent buggering up some spare rear lights with paint and vinyl.
We'll see how they look on the car when it stops raining. So June then...

Mine died. It was underspecced for the alarm system and can't cope with being left for a week.
Was replaced under warranty with the new spec one with no quibbles. No problems since.

Mine feels good at 172 bhp/ton, but I could use a bit more sometimes. Partly it's delivery too - the standard car feels slower than it is because of the lumpy torque.Manifold fixed that, and mines probably quite fast enough at around the 200bhp it allegedly should have come from the factory with ;-)
That said it could certainly take more. The TD turbo demonstrator didn't feel like it had too much...

I reckon a few dealers might be hoping for a Top Gear related bounce in values...

I guess you can search Autotrader as well as the rest of us ;-). Seem to be plenty of sub-40k '62 platers around the £13.5k mark, but I guess condition varies. But even that would leave a little haggle room I would think.
Good luck with your hunt!

No he's right. However the wheels with the sensors don't have to be on the hubs to work... fold the back seat down and put the original wheels in and the light will go out...

So really nice wheels in here, just wondering does anyone with TPMS run sensors in their aftermarket wheels? No. Stupid expensive. Cheaper to stick a bit of tape over the irritating warning light...

LOL, they did indeed. My exit speed from the M56 Airport slip road (it's a fantastic piece of road that would be the stuff of legend on any circuit!) ensured that I could do a big stop by the time I got to the lights!Oh - I love that one too... :-D

Always been a fan. A nice chap, and an amazing achievement to become world champion in both cars and bikes.
Doubt we'll ever see anyone do that again...

Good to see you Joe. Unfortunately due to my time constraints I didn't have time for a wash and valet. Still I got to Birkenhead in an hour with only five minutes to spare!Brilliant! And presumably those new brakes meant you could stop when you got there... ;-)

Polo Gti would still be cheaper though, no? It'll be a bit of a hard sell without any heritage to speak of - but if they only want to shift a thousand that'll be no bother...
Most tempting hot hatch for me at present is the BMW 140i. Proper wheel drive, proper engine, proper bargain.

Haven't done much else to the car really. I've nearly got it how I want it - though some more black bits may feature in future and possibly a fruitier exhaust.
It got a well deserved service today at RRG. Nothing to report really - absolutely nothing has gone wrong/broken/fallen off so there was nothing for @riceburner et al to do besides the routine stuff.
Well actually it was utterly filthy but they appear to have fixed that under warranty ;-). Cheers guys...

Oh hello - sorry I missed this... I'm really liking the Bilsteins. Haven't touched them as I don't particularly want the car low...
Can't really remember what the car was like before now. I think it is a bit firmer around town - but the way they handle bumps at speed is superb. :-)

Got a poke around the RRG demonstrator this morning...
I'm not a change my car every couple of years kind of person, but anyone who is will find enough improvements to be glad of the swap.
The interior is the big thing. Really much much better in terms of perceived quality.
As for the rest, the wheels look better than the old ones when you see them in the metal, the back end is tidied up a treat, and the front is probably marginally better too in real life. The bumper is fine, and the headlights are neater.
A successful facelift.

Is there anything else I can try with my suspension before replacing it

Presumably the quality of damping makes a difference too.
I must have a little less damper travel than stock, however the car feels a lot more controlled at speed on poor roads than it did stock. The standard suspension felt underdamped to me.
