    Lurker leaving the shadows

Aha - the Orange and green theme is back. Get some green stripes on there as well! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Just under 241BHP and the wheel

You have my respect. I occasionally manage to scare myself with 200bhp in the Toyota. That bike scares the crap out of me just thinking about it... [emoji1] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Quite fancy tan leather in mine. Classic look with a red car... Maybe one day... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    WANTED - Subwoofer

I have a Blaupunkt powered sub I had in a different car if you like? It's a bit of a hefty lump which takes up a bit of room - sounds good though and can be fed either line level or off the rear speaker feeds... What you can do is unplug it and take it out when you need the bootspace back... http://www.blaupunkt.com/id/nc/products/car-multimedia/speaker/products/single/9095/ Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    2017 MY Kouki GT86 Review

Well if it is, Toyota put it in most of their other cars too. Don't mind it - but it is a quirk... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I love that they kept the digital clock as well. What is that about? What is the Japanese obsession with 80s digital clocks? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Presumably the quality of damping makes a difference too. I must have a little less damper travel than stock, however the car feels a lot more controlled at speed on poor roads than it did stock. The standard suspension felt underdamped to me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

This is the new Toyota satnav. Set into a simple one piece alcantara covered panel running right across the dash. They've really nailed it this time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    GT86 TRD STYLE REAR SPOILER

So does it fit via the original holes, or some other way? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

That's a mess around the radio compared to the facelift Toyota. :-/. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I'm happy with my car on Bilsteins B14s. The ride is probably firmer than standard at low speed, but on fast bumpy B roads it's much better - feels less crashy than stock. I used to have to back off on the stock suspension. I have them as high as they'll go - I think barely 10-20mm lower than stock. If you're in the NW you're welcome to come and compare... Tyre choices

Do they? That's baffling as I thought one of the main points of the Primacy in its usual application was being eco-friendly?! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Bob the budget GT86

Before and after cheapo light mod. Happy with that - looks great from ten paces anyway. Will do nicely for now anyway and loses the far too chromey rear end... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

This project section is amazing. There are some serious builds on here. However I thought I'd add a thread for those of us with no mechanical aptitude and even less money but still want to fiddle (a bit) and frankly who feel inadequate after looking at some of the wilder builds on here [emoji1] So Bob is a 2015 reg Primo with no factory options whatsoever. He isn't going to get much, but over the months he may get some minor cosmetic tweaks, wheels and possibly audio. His first mods were three Studio Ghibli toys in the back window to keep my kids happy (they've forgiven me for having to remove their lower legs now)

    Battery replacement

That's such b*llocks. But kudos to the dealer for sorting it. If the original battery was up to the job, why did they change the spec on later cars? But no matter... you're sorted. I doubt you'll have issues with the new one... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Full badge Set Gloss black £85

Bargain. I have the Matt black ones on mine - probably the same place and they look superb. Very OEM and it really it very easy to get the old ones off (I used a hairdryer...) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It's a wonder they have any time left to fix Yarises... A happy Sunday afternoon spent buggering up some spare rear lights with paint and vinyl. [emoji90] We'll see how they look on the car when it stops raining. So June then... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Battery replacement

Mine died. It was underspecced for the alarm system and can't cope with being left for a week. Was replaced under warranty with the new spec one with no quibbles. No problems since. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    BHP PER TON

Manifold fixed that, and mines probably quite fast enough at around the 200bhp it allegedly should have come from the factory with ;-) That said it could certainly take more. The TD turbo demonstrator didn't feel like it had too much... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    How much would you pay?

I reckon a few dealers might be hoping for a Top Gear related bounce in values... [emoji41] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    How much would you pay?

I guess you can search Autotrader as well as the rest of us ;-). Seem to be plenty of sub-40k '62 platers around the £13.5k mark, but I guess condition varies. But even that would leave a little haggle room I would think. Good luck with your hunt! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    The Wheels Thread

No he's right. However the wheels with the sensors don't have to be on the hubs to work... fold the back seat down and put the original wheels in and the light will go out... [emoji41] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    The Wheels Thread

No. Stupid expensive. Cheaper to stick a bit of tape over the irritating warning light... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
