Max Butler 2 Report post Posted August 4, 2017 For sale I have my 2012 Toyota GT86, I have owned this car since February 2015 which I picked up in Wales completely stock I have since then had a few subtle changes added to the car. The car has always run since I have owned it on 0w-20 Toyota/Castrol Engine Oil and Motul Gear 300 for the Diff/Gearbox, Recently refreshed the coolant with Toyota Super Long Life Coolant, This car never gets taken on a journey without being properly warmed up, I like to run my GT86 on Shell V-Power for piece of mind and have done so since picking it up, this is used as a weekend toy so millage will not drastically increase as you can see by the parts bellow I haven't spared any expense when it has come to Modifications or services.Service History1st 5,518 miles (3/9/13)2nd 7,604 miles (3/3/15)3rd 14,711 miles (9/3/16)4th 20,459 miles (18/2/17)Warranty ReplacementsRear Lights both replacedBattery ReplacedEngineMishimoto Radiator Mishimoto Radiator HosesCarbon Cooling PanelRaceseng Cam Plate coverExteriorTein Flex A coilovers Whitline adjustable droplinksSuperpro Front/back anti rollbarsSuperpro rear Lower control armsRays 57Xtreme Gramlights 18x9.5j Et40 Front/BackRays alloy wheel nutsFederal 595 RSR tyres Front Performance Friction pads/new discsMotul Gear 300 Oil Gearbox/diff HKS Hybrid Panel FilterHella HornPrivate plate (Will be removed from the car as it has sentimental value) Beatsonic Arial InteriorInterior carbon panelsinterior Steering wheel reupholsteredRaceseng Contour Shift Knob (Will be removed from the car as it has sentimental value and original one replaced)The car has currently undergone a full detail by Chris at Obsessions Motorcycle & Car Detailing so the paintwork and interior is truly Mint pictures don't do the car justice, I have never smoked or eaten in the car neither have passengers. The suspension has all been set up by the lads down at Fensport for Fast Road/Track which has drastically improved the handling of this car, On a dry day the car has unparalleled amounts of grip. I have all the original parts for the car if someone wanted to return it back to stock, I also have most Receipts for parts I have bought. This car is sadly a Cat D this is a very reluctant sale and will be extremely sad to see this car go. if I could keep the car I would but need the funds for a house. Tareim 343 Report post Posted August 4, 2017 I'm not meaning to be rude or anything but being a cat D I'd say you'd be lucky to get 10k for it as non-cat 2012 cars go for your asking price. good luck with the sale though
Mikey P 32 Report post Posted August 4, 2017 I agree with above, car looks great and nice mods but no one will pay more than a hpi clear car for a cat D. Why not sell mods (wheels and coilover suspension would be worth most the difference). Then sell car for around £10k you don't say why cat D this could also help sale, if not major damage. Max Butler 2 Report post Posted August 5, 2017 @Mikey P @Tareim I have thought about splitting the car back to standard but only had it listed for 3 Days if there is no interest in the next few week's will think about dropping the price/ removing parts if people are interested. The car had light front end damage -Max Butler
