matt 6 Report post Posted July 11, 2016 I'm looking at selling my pride and joy, as the wife will soon be giving birth and I really need something a bit more practical. Its a 2014 (14 plate) car with 31000 miles. I've used this car for my daily communite. It's never been on a track day. I followed a strict running in procedure for the engine, and this was the main reason I purchased the car new. It has full Toyota service history and has just had the 30000 mile service completed last week. Spec: Satin Whire Pearl (37J) Red Alcantara Seats Automatic Gearbox Centre console cover I'm looking at selling the car with its current light modifications which are: Rays 57xtreme wheels with Continental Contact Sport 3 Tyres all around (5mm rear, 7mm front) Rear tinted windows (35%) Eibach Prokit lowering springs Kenwood DNX-4230 DAB radio with built in Garmin sat nav and DVD player Blackview Car Camera with Blackview Magic Pro controller Alcantara Dash Binnacle The private plate is not included. For the above I'm asking £17500 If you wish to have the original wheels & tyres (which are immaculate), springs and radio, then I'm asking for £18100. Location is in Harrogate. Any questions, please drop me a PM, and I'll get back to you as soon as possible. Thanks, Matthew
Gringosteve 213 Report post Posted July 11, 2016 I went through this, sold my Type-r, bought a diesel insignia. Realised we only ever went out in my Mrs people carrier and I was driving a massive rep mobile to work every day on my own. Sold rep mobile, bought GT86. Normality restored (i have 3 kids) _____________________________________ www.tuned.org.uk
Nicebiscuit 655 Report post Posted July 11, 2016 I also have two kids and a GT86. Just saying... You buy a smaller pram for the sportscar... And use the 'sensible' car most of the time. I have a Citroen Berlingo. Brilliant car - massive inside, cheap and perfect for being vomited on. Don't get something nice. Get something either knackered already or that you can hose out . Don't do the 'I'm having a baby I suddenly need an Audi Q7' thing. You don't. That said - congratulations and GLWTS. Dan7954 35 Report post Posted July 11, 2016 Have to say, if you get the right car you won't regret getting a second 'family car'. I don't 😎 GLWTS!
