S18 RSG 429 Report post Posted June 29, 2015 Hi guys. I popped in to my local Toyota branch on the weekend to get a quote for a few bits. One of the main things I wanted, isn't even available (apparently), so I figured I'd ask on here. When I bought my car, one of the straps to hold the seat belt on the shoulder of the seat had been torn off. It's not a big deal, as I doubt I would use them much, but it's a minor blemish on an otherwise very clean car. Does anybody know where to get hold of a replacement? I could stitch it on myself if I could find one, or even if there are alternatives or anything. Any help would be great.
rob275 1817 Report post Posted June 29, 2015 They are right, it's not available as a separate part.. But I imagine you should be able to get one made up by any seat re-trimmers. It's not like it's a special leather or anything.

It's not like it's a special leather or anything. I had considered this, however, it's not too big of a deal for me to justify spending too much time/money fixing it. It was only going to be something I would follow through with, if there was an easy solution, which I guess there isn't. Thanks for clearing it up.
Dan7954 35 Report post Posted July 2, 2015 When you say torn off, do you mean the popper is torn out too? Or the strap is just unclipped and missing? Only asking as my popper was torn out and is being replaced under warranty.

I wonder if I could look to get mine done under warranty too?
Dan7954 35 Report post Posted July 5, 2015 Not sure. Mine is damage that shouldn't have happened. Yours is a lost item so id say probably not.
