Can the stock radio swap between cars?

Just wondering, will the stock radio in these cars work in another car or are they "dialled in" to the body computer?

I can confirm that the stock radio is transferable between cars.

 

I have another electrical issue now though.. I can turn the ignition on, but not off. If I disconnect the battery for a minute then reconnect it, the car returns to ignition on mode instantly.

 

I thought one press of the button would turn the ignition off??

Sounds like an electrical fault?
