  1. For sale is my grey MY12 Supercharged GT86 – 40k miles. The Sprintex is a positive displacement twin-screw supercharger that brings a heap of midrange torque that gives the car the feeling of a larger engine and no torque dip as well as some extra noise character as it creates a lovely whine as the boost increases. The car was last dyno’d at 240bhp and 195lb.ft at the hubs on a Dynapack dyno (circa. 280-290bhp / 205 lb.ft), which is roughly +80bhp / +55 lb.ft over a stock car. Notably this has been further tuned with the intake and exhaust since this was done so those may be a little conservative. Dyno sheet at the bottom. The EcuTek tune on the car will be configurable to the buyers preference as well. The exhaust system has been chosen to ensure that it has more character and volume than stock but does a job similar to the Q300 in that it keeps the volume down under normal day to day driving. Car has been looked after by Abbey Motorsport and serviced with all receipts. Private plate will be removed before sale. I’m putting the car up at £13,750 O.N.O and all OEM parts that I've kept are available to go with the car, but I will consider removing any of the mods marked with an asterix to put back to N/A and lower the price accordingly. With all parts removed it’s up for £11,750 O.N.O . 4. Hello All, I've decided to reduce the price and to price it without some of the mods on, to keep it more flexible. £13,995 for the car without the following mods listed below; Milltek Cat Back Exhaust (with resonated and non-resonated section pipes - I bought both in the end). Tomei Un-equal Length Headers (Decat) Wheels – Work Emotion CR Ultimate Kiwami, Matt Gunmetal 8.5J ET38 Michelin Pilot Super Sport tyres 225/35 (Near new) If you're interested in the above parts separately, PM me with a reasonable offer Note, the rest of the mods listed below will still come with the car at the price indicated above. Thanks, Tom ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dear GT86/BRZ Enthusiasts, I’m Tom, a proud owner of a lightly and tastefully modified 63 plate Subaru BRZ SE Lux in WRX Blue, sadly looking to sell due to moving abroad for the foreseeable future for work. I’ve owned this BRZ since December 2015 where it came to me via Cambridge Subaru dealership in pristine stock condition, with approximately 14000 Miles on the clock. I spent a long time trying to find the right one for me and with a full Subaru Service History. The extras on the SE Lux edition are: Heated Seats Alcantara upholstered leather seats (Added option) Pioneer SatNAV + Entertainment system Mod List: Milltek Cat Back Exhaust (with resonated and non-resonated section pipes - I bought both in the end). Tomei Un-equal Length Headers (Decat) K&N Air Intake and filter system for GT86/BRZ Eibach Sportline Performance Lowering Springs Eibach Anti-Roll Bars Whiteline Rear Crossmember Bushes Wheels – Work Emotion CR Ultimate Kiwami, Matt Gunmetal 8.5J ET38 Michelin Pilot Super Sport tyres 225/35 (Near new) Goodridge Braided Brake Line Kit Carbotech XP8 Brake Pads Engine Bay Strut Fensport Rear Diffuser OEM Imprinted Grimspeed Hood Struts ECUTek License and Road mapping session with Adrian at Fensport. Full package, 4 maps and estimated to be approx. 220hp with much improved performance over the entire rev range, especially mid range where this engine tends to suffer. 1 = Performance Map 97RON, 7650RPM Rev Limit + Economy when cruising 2 = Performance Map 97RON, 7650RPM Rev Limit, Adjustable Launch Control, Flat Shifting 3 = Map 2 + auto rev matching on down shifts 4 = Reduced output Map for 95RON Fuel The car, in its current state of tune/build, handles like a dream and is truly a joy to drive, making all the right noises at all the right times. The external of the car is in A1 condition, the few stone chips that I have received have been professionally touched up and colour matched. The only external features that have been changed are the lightweight Work Emotions and the rear diffuser - which I may have bought on a whim on my most recent visit to Fensport. The internal of the car is again in A1 condition, no damage to seat bolsters or fabrics, all electronics work and the Satnav unit has always been reliable, to be honest it still has that new car smell! Overall, this is a special car, in immaculate condition with nothing but pride and enthusiasm put its way since purchase, it is a car for a real enthusiast of the engineering and capability of such a good and nimble platform. Whilst ideally I’d prefer to sell with the modifications fitted, I have kept all original parts that have been replaced, including original wheels and tyres, so if required the car could be put back to standard and run on base map 4. I can appreciate that one man’s tastes are not necessarily the same as another's. These will be included with full asking price. Current Figures on the car: 31,827 Miles on chassis & Gearbox & Approx. 11,000 Miles on Engine (This will go up as it’s currently being used as my daily driver). MOT Due 19th November 2018 Service Due 9th November 2018 The car (and me) live in Hertfordshire and is available from late September and I’m looking for £18,450, with all stock items not currently fitted included in the sale. I am open to the idea of returning the car back to stock configuration, but would prefer to avoid this if possible, please contact me to negotiate. Thanks for reading! Tom

Untitled by James Baker, on Flickr The Story Hi all, I will start this off with a little intro before moving on to my new GT86. Over the past couple of months I have been considering a number of more exotic cars however I decided I didn’t want to go down the route of getting an older car just so I can have a 911, GTR etc. I would rather waiting until I can afford an nearly new version of those cars. Therefore I decided I had unfinished with the GT86 and so last week I decided to purchase a GT86/BRZ. Yesterday I travelled all the way to Edinburgh to collect this beauty. The seller was a joy to deal with and the car was as clean as he had described before I placed a deposit and booked my one way flight. Its just a shame that it took nearly 9 hours to drive home due to crazy traffic on the M6 which double the journey time. I had to resort to plenty of sugar and double expressos in the end to keep me going. My other cars This will be my third car as I currently own two others which you may be aware of, a 2006 R53 supercharged mini R53 which I am currently building which is more track focused with its cage, Yellowspeed BBK and numerous suspension mods such as KW clubsports, 2 pairs of hard race control arms, Hardrace roll centre adjusters, to name just a few: http://www.minitorque.com/forum/f273/tweedbeans-r53-second-bite-cherry-116162/ That went from this in March, totally stock: Clean by James Baker, on Flickr To its current state today, as you can see a work in progress with a full body respray to boot: Untitled by James Baker, on Flickr The rebuild by James Baker, on Flickr And I also own a 2014 Mini Cooper S 2.0 Turbo, currently running 300bhp and 460nm torque:http://www.minitorque.com/forum/f890/tweedbeans-f56-project-97834/MITP 2016 by James Baker, on Flickr I also have an Evoque family wagon, mostly driven by my other half. My previous GT86: This isn’t the first time I have owned a GT86, about a year ago I sold it on to Gudzy on here and since then I have wanted to get another when the time was right. My previous one: http://www.gt86.org.uk/forums/topic/2511-tweedbeans-gt86/ Front by James Baker, on Flickr Rear by James Baker, on Flickr My new ginger GT86: So onto my new one, its very low mileage and it great condition. Current spec above. Plans Immediate plans for this car include removing those strips, changing those rear lights and deciding on a new colour for the wheels as the matt black is nice but you lose the shape of a great looking wheel in that colour. Also after that drive home, an arm rest is a must so I will get one of those ordered ASAP, After that I want to adjust the look of the car with the HT Autos lip kit potentially and get this sitting on coilovers. After that I am planning for FI and forging. Hopefully you kind folks will allow me a couple of test drives in different FI applications to see which one works best for my needs. Lots more plans but lets get on to where it is now: Latests pictures: GT86 by James Baker, on Flickr GT86 by James Baker, on Flickr GT86 by James Baker, on Flickr Window spoiler and shark fin by James Baker, on Flickr Carbon badges by James Baker, on Flickr Work Emotion CR Ultimate 8.5 Front wheel by James Baker, on Flickr Work Emotion CR Ultimate 9.5 Rear wheel by James Baker, on Flickr JPM Coachworks Alcantara Dash by James Baker, on Flickr Perrin Shifter knob by James Baker, on Flickr
  6. Hey Guys! My name is Alan Bennett, I'm 20, and I've just purchased the deal of a century. I brought this 2015 Subaru BRZ for a very modest price. You may have seen it around or heard of it, it had a 6 page spread in Japanese performance mag, and now I'm going to take it to the next level. The previous owner ( before the dealer whom I brought it from) spent £26,000 buying the car new a year and two weeks ago, then after having the car for a week he took it to knightracer and spent a further £25,000 on all of the carbon, suspension, monstrous brakes and of course the supercharger. ( I paid less than what he brought it for from subaru!) It's loud and OTT, and not to every bodies taste, but I love it. Figured I'd join this as I'd like to document the developments I make to the car so other people can do similar / seek advice/ avoid problems. So yeh, hey If you'd like to learn a little more about me and how I managed to afford to buy/ insure this car my 'about me' section will give all of the information you require ! I look forward to meeting some of you, and making new friends. Is there anyone on here attending Japfest this year? I'll be there in a show spot ! EDIT*********************** for more info on the car please see my build thread --- link after the pictures
  7. Just want to say a Thank you to everyone who came along to my party after Snetterton and Modified Live! Was a lovely surprise and great way to end the week i'd had! Was lovely to finally have an event in Norfolk and get some other GT86's about in the village and round the house! Another thank you for the GT86 drivers club card that went around and was signed! Along with the Fensport voucher which is fantastic! Been looking at bits to spend it on this morning! Will be spending it on something to add to the car as an extra and not spend it on stuff to repair my car! So going to save it for when I've got my car back to perfect condition! Thanks everyone. And hopefully it won't be long until the next event! See you all soon.
