  1. Hello guys, I need help with some information... Does anyone know where to find the information of the original Toyota 86 GT 2014 brake system manufacturer specification. Because I'm about to do my Report assignment for mechanical upgrade, where I decided to replace from the normal brake system on the Toyota 86 GT to big brake (the size of the original master cylinder, brake calipers front and rear, rotors, pads, etc). So that I will know any tolerances/clearances and wear allowances with the new modification. And also how do you find a full big brake kits, because all I can find is that they only sell the front without the rear. I really appreciate for any comments from you guys. thank you in advance.

    Nurburgring 24hrs

For those of you interested; this weekend is the Nurburgring 24hrs. Last year I watched it online and even though it was 24hrs I thought there would be some big gaps between cars, but if I remember correctly it rained in the last hour or so and some cars came out of nowhere to almost win it. Others spinning off on slicks and that was all in the daylight. Wait until night. Here's an on board video just to wet your appetite. On another note, tickets aren't that expensive for lots of track action. Maybe an idea for a nice little club event . Camp at one of the corners, chat, eat, drink (I know a lot of you like to do that) and watch some racing too.

    Thinking of a project car

Hi everyone, I have a pretty chill girlfriend, and she's planning on giving me £200 to spend on a project car. I am considering an E34 525i, as a friend at work is selling a rolling shell (no engine or gearbox) for £200. I've seen photos of the car, it's red, with pretty poor paint condition (rear quarter and spoiler are heavily faded), however I'm told the rest is in good condition, and drove well before the engine was pulled out due to excessive smoke. It has a cream cloth interior by the looks of it. Does anyone have any experience of these, and is there anything I should look out for when I see the car? I just wanted a bit of advice as to whether this would be a good project car? I have a small garage and minimal tools atm, but I plan on spending a couple of years fiddling and gathering tools I need. With the ultimate goal of sticking something like a manual coupled with a straight six out of an E46 328i, or an M62, and possibly going supercharged. Am I likely to bite off more than I can chew here, or is this something that is doable over a few years with a meagre budget? Any project advice would be appreciated! Cheers!
