  1. Full set of Toyota GT86 (mk. 1) / Subaru BRZ alloys wheels. Complete with 4 x original Michelin Primacy HP Tyres. 1: Minor kerbing. >3mm tread. 2: Tiny kerbing, >2mm tread. 3: Small kerbing, 6.5mm tread. 4: Kerbing, 3.5mm tread. The wheels were painted with plastic-dip by the previous owner. This was not done very well and has started to peel. This has, however, protected the paint on the alloys very well. The plastic-dip peels easily. One of the alloys is relatively badly kerbed. The others do have kerb marks, one is very minor. The wheels have done around 20k miles. Listed for £200 elsewhere but open to offers for forum members. Located in Hinckley.
  2. OEM wheels. Some marks here and there but nothing deep. Worst is pictured. Tyres went through MOT last month but are getting low. Pick up. Hull £180
  3. Custom 2.5 inch overpipe with 2x sensor holes £120 - this pipe is slightly larger than most aftermarket ones and is made with ceramic coated steel. very good quality better than the likes of miltek, cobra ect but nevertheless still just an overpipe. both holes are currently bunged. Boot mat bought brand new from subaru a couple of weeks ago only had it in the car a few days and thought it would help with the dodgy floor due to my sub. It hasnt soo im going to build a new floor instead. Paid 99£ and was told it was the last in the country. Would like 80£ delivered. The Brown marks are from a cardboard box in my boot its only been in there about 2 days will wipe up as new Tein Street flex coilovers complete with adjustment tools - lower 20-50mm -£350 cheapest set of decent coilovers around! Samco Set of 4 red hoses - £65 REAR lights - £50 each light Blue gt86 fender garnishes as new - £80 these are really easy to change you could take the badge of and spray/wrap them also. then stick them back on! gold rays valves - £10 door lock trims - £3.50 Yokohama Advan sport 235/40/18 95y V105s - asking £85 a tyre shipped! for the 4 new ones and have two with 6mm tread asking £45 each wheels - 0z Ultraleggera 18x17.5 et 48 £1000 also have some perfect tyres same as factory ones to replace. OZ superleggera 17x7 et48 identicle to stock wheels -£500 5x OZ racing superleggera wheels - £500 in decent condition probably 7-8/10 in my opinion. One very light curb mark on the gold wheel all others are fine with some very minor storage marks to paintwork shown in the pictures. One of the grey wheels is damaged hence the gold one but its definitely repairable but id rather someone repaired it with someone they trust than sell a wheel as repaired. All wheels are identicle to stock 17x7j with 48 offset and are incredibly light. ive not weighed them but they feel lighted than my ce28ns did at 6.3kg but I could be wrong OZ Ultraleggera 18x7.5j et48 x5 - £1000 4 wheels are brand new one has a small curb mark but there is a 5th brand new in box wheel to replace it. Tyres are 4-5mm all round came on an aero car with 8k miles.
  4. Hi all, While doing some research on what size alloys and tyres I could potentially go for I came across this website. I am trying to fill out the arch gap and also get the wheels to come out a bit more without using spacers. Arch gap isn't as important. Anyway, enter your current sizes and then your proposed sizes and it gives you details of how far away it will be from suspension strut and how far it will come out and with a really nice diagram. FYI OEM sizes are below in case anyone needs them. Width 215 Profile 45 Diameter 17 Width 7" Offset 48 (I believe).
  5. 2.5 years ago i bought a 62 plate GT86 with in Silver 50k on the clock. I wanted a change and to be a bit different, plus i live in a city centre (Norwich) so i went for an Auto. Usually I'd avoid AT on most cars but I heard this box was actually pretty good with intelligent down shifting and whatnot. I paid 15k in the end (only 6k over original car budget). The car was advertised much cheaper than all the others at the time due to mileage, so the perfect culprit for a project build. The car also had a good service record (RRG Macclesfield & Bolton) and no initial issues besides an exhaust rattle that was fixed at 10k miles. As this would be my first build i did a lot of reading up on the car and various mods, and spent a good amount of time with it stock so that i could get to know the vehicle as a daily, and decide whether i was happy with my decision before i put any money into it! Flash forward one year and i had my first full service to take care of. Thanks to lurking on these forums and reading up about their race car, i then decided to pay the guys at Fensport a visit, only an hour down the road so would be rude not to . I had the service done with no issues, turns out this was the first time they had done a 60k service, so i was delighted to be the guinea pig! Everything went without a hitch. All the guys are super friendly and enthusiastic. First impressions is this is how a business should be run! I discussed with them my plan for NA tuning + FD mod. Also opted for the HKS panel filter and HKS spark plugs for the service. All good stuff! The plan now was as follows: 4.67 FD, manifold, remap and license. - FD for torque/improved 0-60 - Remap + HKS EL catless manifold to address the torque dip - Suspension to improve stability and handling This is the arguably the best bang-for-buck option and should be the go-to for anybody who wants a relatively low cost transformation. The next step was going to be new wheels, rubber and suspension. Happy with the service and eager to do more, we booked in the above for a couple months time, but unfortunately i had some personal issues pop up and we had to cancel . Turns out i would not get around to doing anything with the car until 2017! February: During February i decide to start looking around again for wheels as i can't stand the OEM any longer, that and I'd need wider rubber for more power in future anyway. Granted Silver is not a popular car color choice but it actually has potential to look really clean if you pair it with the right wheels & mods. This is by no means an easy task, anything glossy outside of black clashes in my opinion and most colors/finishes just don't sit right. Black is also just a little too dark in contrast to the silver imo and looks better on a black or grey car. After plenty of poking around i realize that I'm pretty much limited to Matte Gray, Gunmetal could in theory be an alternative option but can look cheap and tacky on some wheels in my opinion (Rota). I also saw a some forgestar in a dark midnight blue that looked really mean with a silver BRZ, so that color might be an option some day if i get bored. After a fair few restless nights browsing wheels and fitments i stumble across this on the usa forums: Gram Lights 57C6 18x9.5 +40 'Matte Graphite' Just what i was looking for. Looks like he decision has been made. However, i contacted the UK distributor only to find that these have been discontinued! I then spend a good couple weeks (!) poking around and come across a small lesser-known company in the USA and look what they have: Vordoven Forme 6 18x95 +38! There is a god! A very cruel one who will later sting me roughly £500 on shipping and fees . Although i decided it was worth it when i stumbled across a thread where a guy tried out four different made in usa 'replica' wheels over the course of a year and voted these to be the best by a long shot and turns out the weight isn't far off the Rays either, practically the same in fact. Also no cheap Taiwanese jobby here so i was sold. March: Wheels & Yokohama Advan Sport V105 245/35 square setup are ready to go on. Luckily I managed to take this all to the fitting place in one trip! As you can see below four new tyres and wheels of this size will only just fit in the car. TA-DA! All balanced and fitted by the guys at STS Tyre pros in Norwich, doesn't it look fresh. I can confirm that this size and offset will only just fit without rubbing on stock suspension, if it wasn't for the mild tyre stretch the front would most definitely rub against the spring. Also worth noting that the wheel caps actually match the color of the body paint too which is a nice touch. April: Suspension time.. So i did a lot of research here- I wanted a nicely balanced & silent coilover setup for fast road & track at a reasonable price. I also wanted a mono-tube damper setup rather than a twin tube, plenty of details online between the pros and cons for both types. The Tein Flex A was my second choice as it was a twin tube. I ended up opting for a set of MeisterR ZetaCRD+ mono-tube dampers and an Eibach rear LCA kit. If you want to go a little more track-focused then heavy duty anti-roll bars would compliment this setup very well, and i will be doing so in good time. So with these coilovers the spring rate is a bit more sensible than that of other popular solutions. With front at 5kg/mm, rear 4kg/mm These are designed to be a good fast road setup with enough damping adjustment for occasional track day use. Front top mount is spherical bearing with camber adjustments. The rear top mount is rubber insulated press steel to reduce possible road noise. These are 32 stage damping adjustable mono-tube dampers (compression & rebound combined). The spring rates of the ZetaCRD+ come out at 5/4 is because of the vehicle dynamic calculation that they do. On the GT86, when you are on the low end of spring rates for fast road, a 5/5 setup is a bit too close between the front and the rear so you could hit a harmonic frequency. The choice then is either 5/4, or 6/5. So they opted for the 5/4 in the end because it suits the requirements of a balanced fast road & track car better. Pictures of them fitted on the car below, 5mm pre-load at the rear and id say 35-40mm drop all round, i would not go lower as i've already had a few scrapes on speed bumps . Camber at approx -1.5 all round definitely gives the desired aesthetic (yes i do need SS lines). : It has totally transformed the ride! Tight, responsive, nimble and composed through the twisties. Feels like a totally different car in many respects now, the grip is insane on NA but doesn't feel bogged down at all once aligned correctly. For those worried about running a desired 9.5J aesthetic due to weight, just do it. I read a really informative article where different sizes and weights were tested and there was literally a couple tenths of a second difference on a track at most, and i know that most of you wont be building a fully stripped out race car ;). I'm running damping at 18 clicks from soft front and rear, 16 was a little too soft. Even though it is stiffer and lower I find the ride to be just as comfortable as stock in my opinion. Everything that I was told was correct, these are the coilovers to go for if you want to upgrade for occasional track without sacrificing too much comfort on the road. Thoroughly impressed. If you have any further questions be sure to hit up Jerrick at MeisterR, he knows his stuff. Coming Soon: FI and more!

  7. Hi all, I'm changing the wheels on my car and I don't really have the space to keep a second set unfortunately. That's what I'm told, at least For this reason, I'm looking to offload my OZ wheels. They are 18 x 7.5 ET48, they will come with the tyres but the rears are almost on the wear indicator on the outside. I'll have to check the fronts when I'm next with the car. I should think they would be fine but I'm not really selling tyres here so... The wheels have covered around 12.5k miles and were coated with Gtechniq Crystal Serum when new. They are virtually spotless, with no kerbing at all. If you really look for them there are 1 or 2 tiny marks which I can only assume have been caused by small stones or something similar. Her are a couple of pictures of them on my car... They are still on the car at the moment but they will be off the car within the next week or two. Collection would be preferred but if someone wants to arrange for them to be collected from me that shouldn't be a problem. £750

    Help me make a decision

Well, as an unfortunate addition to my list of modifications, my newly scratched wheels are now in need of a refurb. Unfortunately, because they're polished, it's £400 to refurb them back to normal, with a 4 day turnover, so I've decided against that and will be refurbishing all 4 in a new colour tomorrow. The question is, what colour? I'm currently leaning towards gunmetal grey, but with a slight tint of red metallic to give them a shine in the sun, but wondered if you guys had any other suggestions and/or examples. The floor is open, fire away

    Project MangoNo5

Hi All, Like to introduce myself, my name is Chris and I have had a stock Silver GT86 with Nav/Leather/JBL setup for the last 3 years. https://www.facebook.com/Fensport/posts/900297963377455 I have read up on your various projects on this and the other uk forum. Really love the car and wanted to improve it with tweaks here and there. To date I have made the following changes curtesy of Adrian and Dan at Fensport: HKS Supercharger V2 KitHKS Hybrid filterMishimoto Racing ThermostatEcutek remapUpgraded Helix ClutchFidanza FlywheelHKS 4-2-1 manifoldMilltek over pipeBerk front pipeHKS Legamax sports exhaustThat is it so far....... My next steps are wheels and coilovers and here is where I am looking for some advice. I'd like to install the HKS hipermax iv GT, fill out the arches with a 18x8.5 wheel and put on Contisportcontact 5 235x40 wheel. I have read a lot on the unsprung weight saving benefits and to this end I am very impressed with Twigman's TWS T66-F (I have gone as far as to source the wheels and have supplier ready to go), I also think the SSR Professor SP3's are beautiful but at this size will be around the stock 17's weight. Does anyone think I should go down a different path and what wheels would you choose? One of the above or something else? Appreciate any feedback, Thanks. PS - Sorry in advance if I have misplaced this post.
  13. Hi all, Here I have for sale a set of 4 diamond cut TRD (Toyota Racing Development) TF6 Wheels taken off a limited edition 2013 Toyota GT86 TRD Edition in the UK. Only 250 of these cars were made. Spec: 18x7.5J offset +46 Bolt Pattern: 5x100. These wheels are in excellent condition, as shown in the pictures, two of them have been professionally refurbished by Toyota to very high standards. There are two tiny chips that are not noticeable as shown in the pictures, and the decorative black paint inside a couple of the holes for the wheel nuts has been worn from using sockets to undo the wheel nuts, as expected for used wheels, not noticeable. See the pictures for more detail. The wheels are wrapped in expensive premium Yokohama Advan Sport V105 tyres in 225/40ZR18 92Y size. As you can see in the pictures, I have had them inspected to show exactly how much tread is left. The tyres are nearly new, again with no damage. These wheels will cost you over £1300 to import from Japan, so £650 is a bargain price. I will ship these wheels if necessary at buyer's expense (around £45 for the whole set of 4), but I would much rather have them collected from myself in Crawley, West Sussex due to difficulty in packaging them. I would also be willing to drive and meet someone halfway, depending on distance. Please message me if you would like to collect.

    WTB OEM rims

Hi everyone, I'm looking for offers of original wheels that are languishing in your collective sheds. My current wheels are becoming my winter set, and I can't quite will myself to give all my money to OZ. Condition of the rims themselves should be very good, tyres are not a concern, (as long as they're not autogrip or other travesties). My preference is for Cambridgeshire and neighbouring counties, so I can come pick them up in person.
  16. Selling my OEM 17" Alloy Wheels & Tyres Wheels are all in fairly perfect condition apart from a scuff as shown on the below picture Tyres are Continental - Conti Sport Contact. Only had approx 1000 miles on them, like new with obviously lots of tread. After £400 for the wheels, tyres and nuts as I need the space. Also have OEM Exhaust & Manifold for sale - Offers welcome Pictures:
  17. I have 4 Rota GRA 17 Inch alloy wheels. With 4 Primacy Tyres done around 8k Miles but with plenty of life left on them yet for summer. I usually get 15k out of a set of primacies. All straight, no cracks, bends or bashes. They're Gold and fit the GT86. Diameter 17" Width 7.5J Offset 48 Stud 5 x 100 Tyres are the stock 215/45/17 primacy HPs. The wheels are in OK condition. Slight curbing. One of the wheels has a tiny bit of flaking but nothing serious. I had a quote at only £60 refurb will bring them to good as new. People that have seen my car at events will know the wheels. Looking for £350 for the Wheels and Tyres. Tyres currently filled with Nitrogen and keep a good PSI hot and cold. I also have 2 Primacy Tyres only done 250miles. Which i'll include in the sale for an extra £100. Can be picked up from Norwich. Or I'm prepared to drive within 50 miles of Norwich to meet or further if petrol is paid. Or I can bring them to the next event / social outing. PM me if Interested. Offers considered too.
  18. Done a couple of mods over the last few days, both were a little bit impulse due to deals not to be missed! I was in the market for some new wheels and had my heart set on some Rays 57Xtreme 18" staggered kit. But was looking at over £1800 with tyres! And I didn't want to be spending that on wheels! And I also didn't really want to loose the feel and fun factor that my GT86 has currently. Managed to pic up a 'like new' set of Rota GRAs 17" x 7.5 e45. With new tires for a bargain price! So went for it! Fitted them onto my car and thought i'd try it out with the tyres they came with. They came with Budget Falken 912 tyres. Cheap tyres but get good reviews. I wasn't too worried about what tyres came with them anyway.... Gave the car a test drive and came to the conclusion these tyres were too grippy and didn't have enough progression for the GT86! They were great grip wise but they skipped a little bit, much bumpier ride and when they let go they went big time! Not progression or knowing when they were about to go. Would be perfect for track use where you want solid grip and not sliding action! Cornering speed was great, handling was good but I like the primacy feel! I like the back letting go and the progression feel the Primacy's give! So went to the tyre centre and had primacy tyres put on them! Felt much nicer and brilliant control! I can say Toyota know what they're doing when they put the primacy tyres on! Too much grip ruins the fun factor and the feedback they give! For some people they may have loved the Falkens! If you want solid grip then great. I could have got used to it. And the tyres were brilliant. But not what I was looking for! May give them another go in the summer in warmer weather! The second mod this week was the full HT Autos Lip kit, front lip, side skirts and back lips...... Once all fitted with the Rota's and a -30mm coilover drop, it looked mean! I'll probably also get 10mm hub-centric spacers just to bring out the wheels a little more. I would have gone for a lower offset personally if I was choosing new wheels. But with this bargain deal they couldn't be missed! Also added a little tribute to Paul Walker...
