    Exhaust Systems!

Hey guys! I just thought I'd make a new little discussion about the exhaust I've recently had fitted to my 86! It's completely changed the driving experience of the car! I'll be making another, better video in the future with more angles & better camera equipment once the exhaust has properly bedded in. It's actually louder now than when it was first installed, as the carbon has built up a bit. Enjoy this video for now, plenty more videos to come to my channel -Jordz
  2. Hello, As per the title, I am looking for a boot lid, the front fog light and indicator assembly as well as the front bumper grill. Bit of a stab in the dark but if anyone does has any of these items and is willing to sell them then please let me know colour doesn't matter as all being painted anyway! Cheers!
  3. Welcome to your new Toyota GT86 This your new 2012 GT86... This car is in fantastic condition and is well looked after. There are no major issues, however one of the alloys has some kerbing and the bonnet has the usual stone chips. There is a slight dent in the front fender which has been there since before I owned it, but this can only be noticed in certain lighting. Mods include: Smoked Valenti tail lights Smoked Valenti reverse/fog light TRD style spoiler Beatsonic V2 shark fin aerial Rota Force alloys (17" 8J ET 35) finished in gloss black with metal flake lacquer GT86 centre caps to match alloys Debadged 'Toyota' badge from boot Toyota emblem on bonnet and boot, along with 'GT86' logo on boot dipped in matte black Matte black GT86 piston badges on fenders Also including a brand new paint touch-up kit. This is a truly excellent car and it has been a pleasure owning it. I'll be gutted to see it go, but need to make way for my new company car, which just happens to be a BRZ. Located in North Warwickshire. Viewings welcome, please drop me a message to arrange. Further pics available here / on request. I'm looking for £13,000. It's ready to pick up whenever you are... Private reg not included.
  4. Hey guys! As a kid who loves to make YouTube videos, I plan to document all my journeys, mods and experiences with my GT86. I made this video while the car is still in stock form. Enjoy

    Simply Japanese

    until
For those who haven't been to Simply Japanese before it's a static car meet with a chilled atmosphere at Beaulieu Motor Museum. Some great stuff in it so worth a day out. As per last year we will meet in the morning by The White Heart pub on the outskirts of The New Forest and convoy to location from there. The meeting point is just of the M27 motorway. It’s easy to get to and has a garage just up the way should you need fuel on arrival. Then once there you get the day to chill and chat with fellow owners, explore the Beaulieu Motor museum and of course all the other Japanese cars that will be on show! It's important that you arrive to the meeting point on time as we need to arrive together to be placed in to a stand. Very easy to get to, just get yourself down south, onto the M27 heading west towards Bournemouth, come off at Junction 1 for Cadnam, left off the roundabout, then left on the next roundabout the pub is right on the corner. Meeting: 8:00am – Departing for Beaulieu 8:20am Meeting Point: The White Heart Cadnam Postcode for sat nav: SO40 2NP The White Heart: http://www.brunninga...adnam/homepage/ Tickets £10 Adult / £5 Child This is a ticketed Beaulieu event, whilst you can buy them on the day; it’s a little cheaper to get them online in advance: https://www.beaulieu.co.uk/simply-japanese-2016 Note: You are expected to purchase your own ticket for the event however you need to let us know if you plan on attending/have purchased so that we can let the museum know numbers

    I'm New :)

Good morning everyone & happy new year I'm Jordan, 19 and I live in London - I got my GT86 on December 22nd, and love making YouTube videos. (This is actually my second GT86 but we'll leave that bit out) As shown in my video, the car is red, 6MT, half leather/alcantara red heated seats, satnav, so quite highly specced However it won't stay stock for much longer! I'll be documenting all my experiences and modifications to my car on my YouTube channel, but thought I'd share it here to fellow 86 owners too Jordz

Untitled by James Baker, on Flickr The Story Hi all, I will start this off with a little intro before moving on to my new GT86. Over the past couple of months I have been considering a number of more exotic cars however I decided I didn’t want to go down the route of getting an older car just so I can have a 911, GTR etc. I would rather waiting until I can afford an nearly new version of those cars. Therefore I decided I had unfinished with the GT86 and so last week I decided to purchase a GT86/BRZ. Yesterday I travelled all the way to Edinburgh to collect this beauty. The seller was a joy to deal with and the car was as clean as he had described before I placed a deposit and booked my one way flight. Its just a shame that it took nearly 9 hours to drive home due to crazy traffic on the M6 which double the journey time. I had to resort to plenty of sugar and double expressos in the end to keep me going. My other cars This will be my third car as I currently own two others which you may be aware of, a 2006 R53 supercharged mini R53 which I am currently building which is more track focused with its cage, Yellowspeed BBK and numerous suspension mods such as KW clubsports, 2 pairs of hard race control arms, Hardrace roll centre adjusters, to name just a few: http://www.minitorque.com/forum/f273/tweedbeans-r53-second-bite-cherry-116162/ That went from this in March, totally stock: Clean by James Baker, on Flickr To its current state today, as you can see a work in progress with a full body respray to boot: Untitled by James Baker, on Flickr The rebuild by James Baker, on Flickr And I also own a 2014 Mini Cooper S 2.0 Turbo, currently running 300bhp and 460nm torque:http://www.minitorque.com/forum/f890/tweedbeans-f56-project-97834/MITP 2016 by James Baker, on Flickr I also have an Evoque family wagon, mostly driven by my other half. My previous GT86: This isn’t the first time I have owned a GT86, about a year ago I sold it on to Gudzy on here and since then I have wanted to get another when the time was right. My previous one: http://www.gt86.org.uk/forums/topic/2511-tweedbeans-gt86/ Front by James Baker, on Flickr Rear by James Baker, on Flickr My new ginger GT86: So onto my new one, its very low mileage and it great condition. Current spec above. Plans Immediate plans for this car include removing those strips, changing those rear lights and deciding on a new colour for the wheels as the matt black is nice but you lose the shape of a great looking wheel in that colour. Also after that drive home, an arm rest is a must so I will get one of those ordered ASAP, After that I want to adjust the look of the car with the HT Autos lip kit potentially and get this sitting on coilovers. After that I am planning for FI and forging. Hopefully you kind folks will allow me a couple of test drives in different FI applications to see which one works best for my needs. Lots more plans but lets get on to where it is now: Latests pictures: GT86 by James Baker, on Flickr GT86 by James Baker, on Flickr GT86 by James Baker, on Flickr Window spoiler and shark fin by James Baker, on Flickr Carbon badges by James Baker, on Flickr Work Emotion CR Ultimate 8.5 Front wheel by James Baker, on Flickr Work Emotion CR Ultimate 9.5 Rear wheel by James Baker, on Flickr JPM Coachworks Alcantara Dash by James Baker, on Flickr Perrin Shifter knob by James Baker, on Flickr

  16. Well they certainly don't make 'em like they used to! It could be because they are very thin on this car to keep the weight down, but the Windscreens on these cars seem very fragile. We've just bought a car and unfortunately a stone hit the screen near the RH A pillar whilst on the motorway. This developed in to a small crack within about 10 minutes. The following morning it had grown to about 4 inches long. I have filled in the crack with some repair resin to prevent it getting bigger (it's now barely noticeable) and we will be having a new screen fitted asap. From reading on the web, it seems that these are quite common to crack. It was just a short journey in the car and I usually cover 20k miles a year in my cars which have never had this. Even the Gen 7 Celica my Wife owned for 11 years prior to this never had such an issue I thought I'd report it on here so there is another 'log' of it. I found that 1 owner has had 3 screens already fitted! I know that Toyota are not admitting any fault yet but surely it is on their radar as a potential design fault.
  17. Hi All, Im a Newbie Introducing myself 3 weeks ago I got my first GT86 Aero 2015 model in White. Not had a dry day to mess in yet so seeing how loose that rear end is .... Rear tyres are down to 3mm so wondering if to just get some new rubber in the form of some winter tyres. Any suggestions gratefully received. Where i live so far north, I need the winter tyres for low temperatures as well as wet roads most of the time. Im also interested in attending a meet some time, is there any that are Glasgow North? 21. Hi all, Another product we've been working on for a little while now. A breather system for the FA20. This is a dual system and covers both the crankcase breather and the rocker cover breather systems in one unit. Each side has its own drain plug and both side are also internally baffled. It also acts as a battery clamp/tie down The prototype is currently on our 86 and has been for a couple of months now. The finished article will look tidier than the prototype and the battery tie down with be CNC cut rather than by hand currently. Ideal for supercharged or turbo cars whereby the stock breather system can become inadequate and stops oil mist being fed into the air intake and consumed by the engine. Pricing TBC and more information will follow as and when we have it Thanks Mike
