  2. Hi Keith, I needed a family car, and have now picked up a Mercedes ML, so the GT86 is now surplus to requirements after having one for 3 years
  3. Code fixed and Part Ex option added
  4. I will fix the screwed up code later from a PC. My iPhone seems to have jumbled it up for me, but hopefully you will get the gist.

Thanks for the feedback on the EBC yellow stuff.

    Brake Pads

I had about 4mm left on each pad at 14.5k miles but I didn't know how much longer that would last and I would rather not be changing them during the winter

    Brake Pads

Does anyone know if Toyota has fitted Jurid Brake pads on new GT86's? The reason I ask is as follows... My front brake pads needed changing. 80% worn at 14.500 miles. The brake fluid reservoir would notify me under general braking that I was low on fluid due to the low pads. I appreciate that 14,500 miles is quite low miles to get out of the set of pads however spirited driving and track days don't help The old pads that I took off were marked as Subaru. I chickened out of upgrading to EBC type sport pads due to the upcoming cold weather. Anyway to cut a long story short... My standard pads have performed well so I opted for genuine standard pads and what I've been supplied are Jurid pads. I've been told these are on new cars. Any thoughts or info?
  10. Great write up. Thanks for sharing it.

I can login on my iPhone via Safari, but not using tapatalk. It says that my username or account does not exist. I have not used tapatalk before on this forum. Do I have to register to use it?
  12. It was great to meet up with you Keith and to fit your new side trims. It was also good to get to go for a drive out in your Turbo charged GT86 and to further experience your Tein suspension and your exhaust system first hand. Here is a picture of your car with the new BRZ Side trims I have been asked why I wanted old trims to experiment with... I don't know why the side trims on both the GT86 and BRZ are dummy intake grills, so I wanted to have a go at fitting one of the many different car mesh grills behind a standard fender grill. I have done a crude but of Photoshop to show a standard trim, a relocated piston badge and a perforated mesh grill in place. Obviously this would be an expensive thing to experiment with with a BRZ fender, so I am going to have a go at cutting out a standard GT86 fender and then to replace the bevelled edge with a modelling iron, and fit an aftermarket hollow patterned mesh behind.
  13. Thanks for the replies. I have PM's each of you above. It would be great to meet up and see how they come off without damage
  14. If you have a pair of standard GT86 side wing trims that you are willing to sell, then please can you let me know or PM. They will be for experimentation purposes. Any colour considered. thanks for looking Phil
