I just fit the stock one up front on the day. It's beefier than most you can get online which I rather like if I'm having my car towed by it!

Just a quick heads up. Brake pads will be really cheap  PFC Z-rated front & Cosworth Street master rear will cost you £100.16!
and OIl has been reduced as well.
HKS Super Oil 0W-25 6L (5.2L needed for an oil change) + HKS Hybrid Sports OIL Filter = £78.24

Hope that your recovery is going well, great news that you'll be keeping the car.  Does that mean you're having scissor doors fitted to make it easier to get in/out?  

Blameshift: will catted headers also be non-legal by your MOT rules? (eg. FT86SF or JDL?) Does check involves scrupulous visual check for possible aftermarket parts or just OBD reader for codes & exhaust gases check? There is also option like some here do, pile of aftermarket parts get switched back for MOT check and after passing it back to aftermarket. Not choice for me, as I wouldn't like to do two part switches per year, if nothing else, due need to pay extra for shop's work, due possibly weakening connections/threads and maybe need to buy new gaskets/O2 sensors, if they get damaged during switch, if eg. changing header 6 times per 3 years. I'd consider it if MOT checks had been once per two years though.
P.S. Does torque dip really bother you that much? When everybody was posting about it .. yeah, i checked/saw it, but in real daily driving i usually drive & gearshift at low rpms below dip, at track, or at overtakes when DD, i downshift, and rpms are always above torque dip, 4K-redline. So in reality i don't care about it anymore.

That graph is not for a standard car though is it? No torque dip etc.

I'm Dave, owner of a grey GT86 since September 2015.  I've occasionally browsed the forums as a guest but thought it was time to sign up after meeting Keith and Ade at the excellent CAT Driver Training day on Saturday.  It was nice to spend the day chatting with fellow enthusiasts, and giving the car the run out it deserves!
I have a stock MY16 with red seats but black interior pack.  No plans for any serious power or handling mods, but I might make a couple of minor cosmetic mods at some point, as I like the idea of a TRD style spoiler and red tail-lights...
Hopefully I'll make it along to some of the meets soon to meet the rest of you in person
