    MartinT's BRZ

Thanks for the clarification, Martin! I am after only the wet grip anyway. The car goes out only on the weekends and when it is sunny outside. Considered some semi-slicks (Nankangs and etc.) as I am boosted too, but don't want to go the baffled sump route, so sticking with normal road tyres. Thanks Ivan

    MartinT's BRZ

Martin Would you consider the F1 AS6 grippier than the PS4? My PS4s are with DOT 2018 and will be changing them so was wondering if the Good Years are better. Thanks Ivan

HELP- reyland brake stock wheel clearance

I have the Eibach spacers too on my stock aero wheels and have the Reyland kit. Ran them for years with no issues even when driven hard. Bought mine from Autodoc as that was the cheapest place.

    Brake callipers upgrade

Most of us are running the Reyland AP Racing Kit. I had mine for 2 years now on my TD Turbo car and had zero issues with them. Been running the car on track with zero fade.

    Touch'n'Go wiring diagram

The reversing camera signal and reverse gear signals are all on the 16 pin connector. I think the pin 6 was reverse signal coming from the sensor on the shifter. Then you'll need to connect the signal and power from the camera to the the other pins (check this tread). The original camera supply is 6V and most aftermarket cameras are 12V. I have used a booster that boosts the 6V to 12V and powers on the camera. That is easier than using a 6V relay. Ivan

    Team Dynamics Racelite 86 wheels

These are the aero wheels in the UK. They just sell them under different name. The company that make team dynamics wheels made them for toyota uk. Never had issues with mine.

    PLEASE HELP!!

Is your car an auto or a manual Ben? As from the photos it looks that you got the unit for the auto box instead of a camplate.
  10. I wouldn't fit a space saver on the back. The circumference of the 2 wheels will be different and that would damage the limited slip diff at some point. This style space saver would fit over the brembo as it come off WRX STI with the same brembo kit.

    TD or Cobra Cat Back

I'd go for the TD option. I have a TD turbo'd 86 with 2ns sports cat and Super res system and it sounds like a OEM+ system. Very nice and deep tone low down and no drone at all on the motorway. It is barely louder at 70 mph but get's nice and loud when you step on it. Also with the TD you can choose different mid pipe if let's say the one you order is too loud or too quiet speak to Mike and order one. With the TD If you are installing yourself you'll need longer bolts high tensile bolts and penny washers to be able to secure it to the front pipe.

    Oil Filter Help

When you get the new oil in and the new oil filter installed, prime the oil system by pressing the clutch and accelerator pedals all the way. That kills the spark and let the engine crank for as long as you need it to get the oil through the engine.
  13. The different shape is only true for the BRZs. The facelift 86s use the same size as the pre facelift. I think Subaru did that so they can fit a standard unit they were having on the shelf. All cars come to the UK with no head units. The HU and the alarm are being installed before the car is delivered to the customer.

BRZ not starting - suspect immobiliser

Try to lock in and unlock it with the jumper pack connected so the alarm does an arm disarm cycle. Also try and keep the fob as close to the start button as possible.

    Subaru BRZ 2018 brake kits

I can confirm that the Reyland kit fits under 18x7.5 ET46 Aero wheels with no problem. It also fits under the STI space saver wheel too. Shouldn't have problems undner 18x8"

    Will300's Subaru BRZ Build

Will, I just ordered Flex As for mine last week, thinking of coating them with C5 as I have been very happy with it on my wheels and calipers. Do you think it will work?

    MartinT's BRZ

Thanks. Good think that I kept my OEM second cat for MOT times.

Hey Martin, Was that with the OEM 2nd CAT or a hi flow one? Thanks!

    Looking to Buy Soon

That is the correct one. Bare in mind most aftermarket cameras require 12V where the output from the HU is 6v. I have used a DC-DC step up converter to boost the voltage from 6V to 12V when installing mine rather than taking 12V from somewhere and using a relay to switch the camera on when in reverse.

    Oil cooler needed?

It will run pretty hot on track without the cooler. The turbo is oil cooled so will help the oil to get hot. The only issue I had with the oil cooler is that on a normal motorway journey at 70 mph winter time my oil is too cold at 75-80 degrees where it used to stay at 90 when stock. You might look at the Forester cooler as an option if you are planning to do the occasional track day but mainly daily the car.
  21. If the performance pack wheels are 7.5J and stock are 7J you might nee to get some spacers i.e. 10mm for them to fit over the brakes. Regarding the space saver, WRX STi 17 inch one fits over my Reyland BBK so should fit the brembos as they are more or less similar to the ones on the STi.

    Alternative dash cluster

Hey Sun_Zenith I have got 2017+ cluster working in my 2013 GT86. If your car is a UK spec and has the keyless entry and start it is more or less plug and play. What you have to do is to find someone to program the correct milegage from your old cluster onto your new one (if you are bothered). Also you will need this kit to scroll through the menus on the display. With the 2017+ cluster you have got access to coolant and oil temps. battery voltage, track stopwatch, G-meter, miles left to empty (not very accurate I think), total times driving and the rest of the normal stuff.

    Bought a GT86!

This one will fit over the front brakes. As Badger said if you have puncture at the back you will have to take a wheel of the front axle put it at the back and then fit the spare at the front. The diff won't like the different diameter wheel.
  24. Hey @mart86 it is custom made by Rogue Motorsports bought it form Jeff (aka Deacon). I haven't been through MOT after the turbo swap as I have since moved back to Europe. It is unlikely it will pass MOT with the sports cat but you have a good chance to pass if you install the OEM cat in place for the MOT. It takes less than 1 hour if you put the car on ramps or about 1.30 mins if you doing it on the floor on jack stands.
  25. I don't know about the stock cat but with a sports cat mine is making 270hp with TD Turbo Stage 1. Had tried the stock cat in place of the sports cat and the car is quieter and more environmentally friendly but so sluggish so I have put the sports cat back in place.
