    Go Japan! - Brands Hatch

Go Japan! Sunday, September 25th, 2022 Brands Hatch Circuit Brands Hatch celebrates all things Japan in September, with the return of Go Japan! The Kent circuit will bow to all things performance, power and modified from the Land of the Rising Sun, with thrilling on track action and big display areas. Track-prepared specials will fight to set the fastest outright lap times of the circuit in Time Attack, with this being a pure celebration of speed and performance. Japan was the birthplace of drifting, and the sport has boomed in popularity across the last two decades, with the Motorsport UK Drift Pro Championship being Britain’s highest professional category. Supremely skilled drivers will spend most of the lap sideways with the tyres billowing smoke in an effort to impress the judges. Further action will come from an all-Japanese line-up in the Civic Cup, with a grid full of saloon car battlers bound to put on a show. Meanwhile, themed car club display areas, show and shine competitions and trade areas will ensure there’s plenty to see off-track too! See further details at: Go Japan! – Japanese Automotive & Cultural Celebration We will have club stand. Peak District Cruise

Hi guys, Hope you're all well and staying safe! This isn't an event I've organised, but one I'll be attending - I thought a few of you might be up for joining me and the few others who have confirmed so far. Here's the description from the event page on Facebook: Another year, another day to send it straight into the Peak District! Same as always, meet up at Alma Retail Park in Chesterfield and shut it down first thing in the morning. Then we move out as soon as everyone's had breakfast, and enjoy the day out! Cars, Bikes, bring whatever you want! Let's make it a big one in 2020! 💥🔥💥 For more details, here's the link to the original event page: https://facebook.com/events/s/peak-district-cruise-4/2220911314868584/?ti=as Hope to see you there! P.S. - if anyone is going from the West Yorkshire area and wants to convoy down to Chesterfield with me and one or two others, let me know ☺️ UPDATE: Some further details (including the route - see images) revealed: Sunday is fast approaching! For those who intend to have breakfast at the Harvester, I have been kindly informed by the restaurant that it would be wise to book a table in advance to ensure you are able to eat in! Bookings should consist of groups of up to 6 people maximum, to keep things simple. There's a McDonalds across the road for those who crave that kinda thing, otherwise do bring some food for the drive as there are no plans to stop at a restaurant. Under no circumstances should you be doing burnouts, handbrake turns or anything anti-social in the car park. Lastly, do keep your litter within your car during the drive, we certainly don't want to be ruining the scenery or giving ourselves a bad name! I look forward to seeing you all on Sunday from 9am. Fingers crossed that the weather is pleasant on the day, but I'll be there rain or shine 🌞

Hello, I've decided to go and support Rogue MotorSport as they are competing in the 6 hour Birkett relay race at Silverstone. I thought it would be nice to also use this event as a mini meet for any of the drivers club that may also be attending. It looks like a good event, comment on here if anyone is up for attending. All coming together nicely for the 2016 Birkett Relay Race - with Grove & Dean Motorsport Insurance - The team will consist of Patrick Mortell - Malcolm Edeson - Immanuel Vinke - Clive Bailye running in the Rogue Motorsport GT86s. Our Team name is "Rogue Hachiroku" (86 in Japanese) and we are appropriately enough Car #86. We are in Garage 12E along with a related teams Rogues Troopers and the All-Girl Rougettes featuring Maxine Nicholls & Dawn Tumbridge. If you want to come along tickets are just £8 (Silverstone). Quali is from 09:00 to 11:00 and the race from 11:45 until 17:45. 70 Cars on the grid and over 300 in the paddock.

    Mini Meet @ Tuning Development

http://www.gt86.org.uk/forums/topic/1172-mini-meet-tuning-developments-saturday-7th-december-2013/ Courtesy of Tuning Developments and fatrab for their awesomeness last weekend, I managed to bag myself a discount on some shiny Go Fast Bits Lightweight Pulleys. So to take them up on their offer, I've booked my car in for the Saturday 7th of December to get these pulleys fitted as well as a quick dyno to see how my car is performing at the moment (this is Alec's fault as I'm intrigued by his increase in performance by doing nothing but driving it like he's stole it so wanna see how mine fairs and with my mods so far). So if any of you are free and fancy a mini meet for a lil chat, food etc, pop on down to Tuning Developments in Warrington on Saturday 7th December: 19 Trinity Court Birchwood, Warrington, Cheshire WA3 6QT I shall be up for 10am and Mike will be straight on with working on my car, obviously we can't crowd his garage while he's working, but we can chat away outside, go for a cruise (tho I'll have to be a passenger) or even get a spot of lunch somewhere.
