GravelRash 62 Report post Posted February 15, 2022 I’ve got a requirement to tap into the Parking Brake Signal. I’m not sure what this is or where this in the 86. Can anyone enlighten me. In specific details, I’m not very good with this stuff!
KAS 25 Report post Posted February 15, 2022 It’s the wire that comes off the handbrake switch. Is this for a (pioneer) stereo install? You can buy parking brake sensor bypasses for about £15 and save yourself from having to splice in to factory wiring 1 GravelRash reacted to this
Mike 458 Report post Posted February 15, 2022 If it's for a head unit just ground it 1 Samwise reacted to this

GravelRash 62 Report post Posted February 16, 2022 It’s not for a stereo, it’s for EDFC. Needs a 0v circuit and then just mentions the parking brake signal. thanks for all the replies.
GravelRash 62 Report post Posted February 16, 2022 Used the single wire on the handbrake assembly as the feed and it’s working great. Thanks for all the replies and assistance.
