JDBRZ 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2021 Hello! After driving a friends GT86 and becoming fed up with reliability of my previous car (208 GTI), I was dead set on getting a BRZ/86. My previous car was faster off the line no doubt, but there's just something about the way this platform handles and looks that I was eager to own. Back in the summer I came across this BRZ in stunning condition with only 17k on it, at a reasonable price (in comparison to the market at that time...) and snapped it up. Imagine my surprise when I got it home only to find out it had already had the Tuning Developments UEL system & tune on it! £1500 mod I had planned already checked off, what a score. Shame the Valentis quickly made a dent in that! Back in September I took it to the Lake District and it was an absolute dream; this car is made for those roads. The scenery wasn't too bad either! I definitely plan to get some new wheels in the new year, but for now I'm looking to upgrade to some winter tyres on the stock rims. Anyone got any recommendations? Also, Anyone got any recommendations for a good paintwork/'winterisation' specialist in London/South East? The paintwork is spotless, and I want to try and keep it that way!
