Booboo 11 Report post Posted July 7, 2021 Have other owners experienced a big increase in screen damage from road debris on the twin from other vehicles they drive? Obviously, the vehicle is low, but my screen seems to get hit nearly every flaming month! I keep my distance from vehicles ahead and TBH the last two hits came from vehicles travelling in the opposite direction. My screen now has twenty-two teeny weeny hit marks of which two have developed into small cracks, so the time is near for a replacement me thinks! Just wondering how others fare

Luke 193 Report post Posted July 7, 2021 Yep mine is a mine field after 4 years and 40k it’s usually single carriage roads with trucks and suv coming the other way that flick stones onto the windscreen because the car is low. I bought a diy repair kit to keep most of the little ones filled in. Also have a paint touch up kit from chipex for the front end, much easier to use than regular touch up pens and quicker too. Sadly it’s part of ownership.
Jay 37 Report post Posted July 7, 2021 No difference here. All my cars got hit by debris. After 200 k miles, bumper, bonnet and windscreen have always been a minefield.
nerdstrike 186 Report post Posted July 7, 2021 I averaged a windscreen every 20k miles. I suspect the low front and angle of windscreen are particularly good at taking big stone hits.
