GravelRash 62 Report post Posted July 6, 2021 I don't think so. Valet mode stops the car from revving so there's no hoonage. The MOT emission checks are done at idle. AFAIUI remaps use the stock ECU for idle control and only really do their thing higher up the rev ranges when fueling and ignition need to be adjusted. 1 Jay Bamrah reacted to this
Luke 193 Report post Posted July 6, 2021 Biggest bit of advice is make sure the cat is really warmed up before it goes through emission checks as you’ve not got the primary cat the secondary cat needs to be warmed up by running the engine. 2 1 MartinT, Tom21 and Jay Bamrah reacted to this
Tom21 10 Report post Posted July 10, 2021 I think emissions are usually measured at idle and also at load, around 2750rpm. Our cars are usually quite close to the limit from standard, so yeah make sure it's warm. Sent from my Pixel 5 using Tapatalk
