Legality of Valenti tail lights

I recently got my GT86 and I am not a huge fan of the rear tail lights. I was thinking of getting these Valenti lights https://www.fensport.co.uk/products/valenti-led-rear-tail-lights-red-clear-gt86-brz?_pos=6&_sid=0820971a6&_ss=r but I want to make sure I am getting something that will still be road legal. I have seen on the site that these are E marked which I would usually believe to mean they are legal, but on the blacked out ones which they say may not be road legal they also have the E mark; I also don't want to take the absence of it saying they won't be legal to mean that they are legal.
Has anyone had these lights and run it through an MOT and know the legality of them?

Can only speak for the non-smoked ones, but it's never been a problem for MOTs. I'd be astonished if any MOT tester checked for emarks on light clusters!

I have red/chrome. 2 years and no MOT or Police problems.

I've had the smoked ones for about 4/5 years. Never had any issues
