Gt86ben 0 Report post Posted September 6, 2020 Recently been getting a small amount of smoke/steam out the engine bay after I’ve been driving for long periods of time or at high speeds. I’ve had a look under the bonnet to find a very small amount of oil leaking onto the exhaust. Just need someone who has more knowledge than me to identify what could be wrong, I’ve found where exactly it’s coming from but have no idea of what I’d need to order to fix the problem? I’ve put my hand underneath to find where the oil is, if someone could please shine some light on what I’m dealing with and what part I need to order I would be very grateful, thank you very much in advance👍🏻 vehicle is RHD, the same side as the leak. will300 812 Report post Posted September 6, 2020 Most likely it the cam plate, it's not a serious issue and is quite common. There are a couple of options, remove the existing plate and reseal it or buy a replacement with an upgraded o-ring seal. Upgrade is probably a better option.
