3782mc 5 Report post Posted May 12, 2020 I have a set of WedsSport SA15R in 16x7.0J, ET48 configuration if of interest - they’re pretty light at 6.6kg each and are the same wheels fitted to some of the cars running in the Gazoo Racing 86/BRZ one-make race series in Japan. james_ly 7 Report post Posted May 13, 2020 No tyres I take it? How does the car drive on these compared to standard?
Luke 193 Report post Posted May 13, 2020 I’m running 16x7 fox racing wheels that are 3kg lighter than the stock wheel and tyre setup. Using a 205/55R16 Dunlop winter sports. I think the car does ride better over the bumps and the unavoidable pot holes. The steering has lost a little of its initial turn in but once you get used to it the car feels more progressive from understeer to oversteer. 2 Angelina and james_ly reacted to this
Angelina 82 Report post Posted May 13, 2020 Fox wheels are lovely. I have primo, but love the stock wheels. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I actually have a set of AD08R (205/55/16) for these as well - they still have between 5-6mm of thread so a decent amount. I had these on my car for around a year and tracked a couple of times on these, the fact that they are 7.0J wide (vs 6.5J for the OEM 16”s) gives a more square setup and they are not wallowy at all on tyres with stiffer sidewalls like the Yokos. Anyway, feel free to PM me for more details if you’re genuinely interested.
james_ly 7 Report post Posted May 27, 2020 Thanks all. I found some VW Golf GTI mk4 wheels on eBay, fit perfectly and I’m pleased with the way the car drives.
