DevilsCry 11 Report post Posted April 1, 2019 I have found the clutch has started to slip and it is getting quite bad. Is it worth going for a stage 1 clutch or should I stick with OEM? Are there any advantages for upgrading this? I am not sure what I'm planning to do in the future as it has a SC already.
Church 209 Report post Posted April 1, 2019 SC, so more torque .. i'd probably go for a bit uprated clutch. Not going too overboard with choice to not get overly noisy or hard to use one for daily driving though.

If you have SC already and if you are driving hard at times, you could do with a slight upgrade. Stage 1 won't make it any worse on daily commute, but it will hold the power better. https://www.part-box.com/exedy-stage-1-organic-clutch-toyota-gt86-amp-subaru-brz-tk07h833?search=stage 1 gt86&description=true use a coupon code for 10% . Off = GT86CLUB10 or Comp clutch if you're planning on increasing the power in the future by a little bit. https://www.part-box.com/15035-2100-competition-clutch-stage-2-clutch-kit-toyota-gt86-subaru-brz?search=stage 2 gt86&description=true 1 DevilsCry reacted to this
Varelco 211 Report post Posted April 1, 2019 A Stage 1 organic job will do nicely. Don't go for a paddle clutch they are awful to drive on the road.
