Hello everybody,

14/02/19 - UPDATE: HEADUNIT IS NOW SOLD,

£65, £65, £65, £65 £65, £65, £65, £65

THE EXHAUST SYSTEM, AIR FILTER, AND OTHER ANCILLARY PARTS AS SHOWN IN PHOTOS STILL FOR SALE £65

£65, £65, £65, £65 £65, £65, £65, £65

I recently had a supercharger, and cat back sports exhaust fitted to my GTS 86. I also had a new audio system installed. I have all the parts for sale that were taken off the car.

My car is a 2015 (Australian) GTS 86 automatic. When the supercharger was fitted I had only done about 18,000 miles, and all of those have been done in a very dry Australia. So all parts are in excellent condition.

Would prefer to take £150 for the whole lot. I’m not certain on what prices I’d want for individual parts. I think my preference is to set it all as a job lot. That would certainly mean a lot less hassle and less stressed parents, who are currently storing everything in their garage.

Also, the stereo was the 2-din high spec 2015 Australian model, which includes satnav and all the other bits and pieces. Frequencies are the same as U.K., though some EU maps would be requred for the satnav.

I will provide pictures of everything at some point. What I wanted to do was to gauge interest?

Happy to answer questions etc. Just let me know.

Cheers,

Richard

Worthing, West Sussex.

Can you please post prices and pictures with what parts are available.

Am I right in thinking you are selling the stock head unit? Is it different in Australia is the frequency range the same etc? We are a UK club we don't know what a high spec head unit is in Australia.

Also are you selling a stock exhaust?

If it's any help, stock exhausts are pretty much worthless as there are so many around. I have one as an example sat in my shed for six years that was taken off before PD with zero miles on it. I'm going to wait a few more years before I try and sell that!

As for the head unit, if it's like the UK one it's not a good head unit, but with sat nav would be desirable to some. However I expect it won't have European maps on it which would mean a significant additional cost to put them on.

And yes, the stock exhaust system.

Plus all the air filter box and ducting etc. that was replaced when the S/C was fitted.

It will be a few days before I can get pics of the other stuff, here is the head unit though.

Managed to find some pictures I took a little while ago of the other bits. I’m not certain that this is everything, but it’s probably close.

That's better. You need to put some prices up though. If it's any help I sold an airbox and induction piping for £45 but mine had spent less than a week on my car so was absolutely mint. So I would say £30 maybe?

Exhaust £50-80 I would say.

That head unit, I don't think it will have any value especialy with no Western Europe maps on it. It looks worse than the stock UK head unit. It's not pretty is it?

To be honest, I’d be happy for someone to give me £150 for the whole lot. I hadn’t thought to price each part up individually. I wouldn’t know where to start.

I’m struggling to upload any more photos for now, so I may try later.

The head unit has exactly the same frequencies etc. as a U.K. unit, however hours right, it would need EU maps.

does the wiring come with the 6 pin connector for the rear speakers from the back of the oem stereo please?

Hello JohnM,

I will need to go through all the wires and photograph those that look like they match what you are looking for. I’m not totally certain which will be which as the original headunit was removed by the car audio specialists when they installed my new one. I can only assume that all the wires they gave to me will have that one included in it

I’ll try and get this done tomorrow or Friday when I will be able to get to it at my parents’ place. I’ll PM you with the results if that’s OK?

Hello JohnM, please accept my apologies, as the headunit sold overnight so is no longer available. Good luck in your search for one.
