Lauren 2259 Report post Posted January 8, 2019 Cadwell is quite a track to start the 2019 season on! A real favourite amongst competitors, but not for the faint hearted. It's the best and most technical circuit on the calendar, so a great place to start the championship.

Lauren 2259 Report post Posted January 19, 2019 The favourite option would be the Admiral Rodney at Horncastle, providing there isn't some event going on like last year.
Lauren 2259 Report post Posted January 19, 2019 Just booked the Admiral Rodney, Horncastle for Friday 5th April. https://www.admiralrodney.com It's a great hotel with nice food only 10-15 minutes from Cadwell. Plan to be in the bar for around 2pm.
Mike 458 Report post Posted January 19, 2019 I'm going to look for a cheap Premier Inn then I might enter. They need to stop putting the price up, £170 for 6 runs is silly...
Lauren 2259 Report post Posted January 19, 2019 Admiral Rodney is at £58 at the moment, so not too bad and a nice hotel.
surrey86 352 Report post Posted January 19, 2019 I booked the Boston PI about a week ago while it was dirt cheap.
Mike 458 Report post Posted January 19, 2019 Admiral Rodney is showing £77 directly, booking.com and hotels.com Boston PI is £29 still but some distance away but doable

KevinA 695 Report post Posted January 21, 2019 Booked Mr Rodney for Friday night, will probably drop car and trailer off at the circuit first as there is a trackday.

Still got the creaky steering issue, but it won't affect performance and we will revisit this next week to get to the root of the problem. How are you getting on Kev? I remember you saying that you are leaving at 3am tomorrow morning to get to Cadwell for the track day. That's going to be a hugely long day for you. My car is now ready, I'm convoying over with Richard tomorrow, hoping to get to the Admiral Rodney for aroud 2pm. We will then be in the bar! It's been a hell of a week and a drink will be much needed! I shall tell you the story when I see you! I expect you've got a tale to tell as well! We will make it! 1 surrey86 reacted to this
surrey86 352 Report post Posted April 4, 2019 I just about got the car into a track-ready state at 4pm today. I should've been done last weekend but had a delay and the weather has been pretty grim down South for it!
surrey86 352 Report post Posted April 4, 2019 Also realised halfway here I've left my magnetic sheet at home so race numbers will be staying on this year! 1 Lauren reacted to this

I'm having a load of vinyl done in time for Three Sisters so mine will be on all year from then. I did buy a load of magnetic sheet though before I knew I was doing this, so can bring some if you want it. It's red though. 1 surrey86 reacted to this
surrey86 352 Report post Posted April 5, 2019 Red would be ideal, that would be very much appreciated Lauren! I've got my plates for rrg and Fensport from last year so it's just backing for the number I'm looking for. 1 Lauren reacted to this
KevinA 695 Report post Posted April 13, 2019 Best lap of Cadwell before the rain, shame about the messed up gear changes after Coppice. Could have been a good time. 1 Lmc reacted to this
BRZ-123 174 Report post Posted April 15, 2019 Super. Did I hear you using flat foot shifting capability of ECUTEK? And did you use launch control at the start? Sent from my FIG-LX1 using Tapatalk
