Westie Wagon 0 Report post Posted July 18, 2017 Has anyone come across this? Red circle appears in centre of Tachometer when I accelerate, regardless at what speed and goes off as soon as I take my foot off. Thus far dealer hasn't a clue.
surrey86 352 Report post Posted July 18, 2017 Sounds like someone has set the shift light to come on at a low rpm.
Nimz 70 Report post Posted July 18, 2017 Just a solid red circle? Is it the shift indicator? Edit: Maurice got there first, yeah check the rpm that the shift light has been set to.
rob275 1817 Report post Posted July 18, 2017 It's a rev warning light, it can be set to a certain rev's as an indicator for you to change gear. It can be set to whatever you want though. Engine needs to be off to adjust it using the display button to cycle to the rev counter can also adjust the beep on and off. Also welcome to the forums.
