The scheme covers most modifications (excluding nitrous, roll cages and bhp increases of more than 100 over stock). We can help with all the cars in your household. For GT86/BRZ models all drivers must be aged 25 or over with 12 months' experience of the car or one of similar performance. For most cars drivers must be aged over 19, some 23. All drivers must have held a licence for at least 1 year and have at least 1 year's NCB.

 

Quotes subject to individual circumstances including restrictions on claims/convictions (no more than 1 SP/PC/PL conviction per driver). Some postcodes require the car to be parked off the road overnight. This scheme IS available to members in Northern Ireland.

Yes indeed, like for like on mods. As regards other parts that'll depend on the repairer you use. With most of the insurers' policies we issue, you have the option of using your own repairer if you have a particular favourite. So if your local Toyota/Subaru dealership is your preferred bodyshop you can use them. That should guarantee OEM parts. If that's important to you please specify this when you get your quote and we can ensure we place you with an insurer that offers it.

That prompts me to mention something else that some people don't realise: if you'd like cover for 'driving other cars' added to your policy please mention this at quote stage too as it is not something that is standard anymore these days. We can include it free of charge but you'll need to request it.

From a risk point of view you result in a high number of claims from a relatively small group of drivers. Insurance is all about assessing risk, demographics and statistics. It doesn't mean you're all bad but as a group you don't perform well. That doesn't help you in leafy Wadhurst though I know (I live in Hurst Green).

I'm planning on putting a roll cage in one of my cars with you saying you don't cover cages is that you don't cover cars with cages in or you don't cover just the cage but the rest of the car is covered.

My insurance is due in october one mazda Mx5 track day car driven to tracks so needs insurance and one completely stock Toyota gt86.

Would you be willing to offer insurance to the track car while it's on the road?
