Captain Duff 79 Report post Posted March 7, 2015 I've tried a lot of different cleaners, some a lot better than others (I currently like armorall glass cleaner), but while on the outside glass a twice a year proper prep, polish and sealant routine is my best tip for clean windows. on the inside (and where you need to be gentle on the rear heating element etc.), I've found the biggest improvement came when I discovered that specific glass cleaning microfibres were indeed a huge improvement on 'normal' microfibre cloths (for wax buffing and the like) for streak-free windows. So far Stoner Invisible Glass is the best one I've used. I find RainX was ok as long as you keep it regularly topped up and don't ever want to stop using it. Once it starts to break down or you stop topping up, it starts to smear like crazy and then you need to shift it with something fairly strong like a glass polish or clay or both.
