:D  Best looking maybe, could be better though, still got many plans for her but there are guna be plenty of other great looking 86's there, I'm seriously lacking behind on performance though  -_-

I am gutted that I'm not there to see the 'unveiling', Keethos...

... will we see you at a Sprint this year?

The car had sooooo much attention over the weekend and I couldn't have been more happier with the results, people's reactions and comments.

Thanks, they were supposed to, would have saved me a lot of money if they were but the fabricator I got to do the customization had some sort of mental breakdown and had the idea that the grills should be facing forwards. So instead I ended up getting the Seibon vented fenders which are 10mm wider and cost a hell of a lot more expensive in every way, the price of them were pretty much twice the cost, the fitting was a complete pig and painting was a mission too so this all added even more time and money to the project....but they turned out pretty awesome in the end.

Thanks all.

Hi fella.

Saw someone else tonight with the same fenders as yours, they didn't need any spacers on with the standard bonnet.

@Matt, who and where has these fenders? I was getting the feeling that I was the only on in the UK as I've not heard or seen anyone else with them. The only reason the fenders have washers underneath is to compensate for the excessive amount of arc the Seibon bonnet has, the spacers were used to try and match that arc which you wouldn't get with the stock bonnet.

Keethos..

.. the ugly duckling has transformed into a swan... brilliant! From weakness comes forth strength...

.. but, as I'm a nit-picky 'Anti-Bling Party' founder member,  it needs black stripes to 'join' the bonnet vents to the roof... and the rear spoiler, visually hanging in mid air, needs a rethink..

It looks delicious... and I cannot wait to see it in the flesh.

Guest

I'd like to ask a really geeky question if I may..

How did your body shop guy deal with the chassis plate/sticker on the door closing panel/B pillar? I would like to take mine off to avoid it getting damaged and for painting, but am worried it will disintegrate?
