Lussoman 0 Report post Posted August 17, 2018 I've been looking for a WR Blue BRZ on and off for a while now, and noticed this has been re-advertised a week or so after I thought it'd been sold https://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201808179598420?maximum-mileage=45000&radius=1500&postcode=pr29wx&advertising-location=at_cars&seller-type=trade&sort=datedesc&make=SUBARU&onesearchad=Used&onesearchad=Nearly New&onesearchad=New&price-to=17000&model=BRZ&transmission=Manual&page=1 It has non-standard wheels, and the rear tail lights are different to the brochure for that model year. Is this sort of thing fairly common, or is it even a grey import? Any help or advice would be much appreciated.
Kodename47 446 Report post Posted August 17, 2018 It's got aftermarket wheels (TSW) and lights (Valenti). Mods are common, highly unlikely any cars are a grey import as the UK spec is good. That definitely is a UK car. 1 1 Lauren and Lussoman reacted to this
Lussoman 0 Report post Posted August 18, 2018 Many thanks knightryder. I'm still learning about these cars and their mods. I've driven nothing but Alfa Romeos for the past 15 years and attempting to improve on the Italian's design sense was always a no-no! The wheels and tail lights on that BRZ definitely add to the looks IMHO.
Lussoman 0 Report post Posted August 21, 2018 The car linked to has had 4 previous owners and only part service history. No wonder Evans Halshaw's ad lacked all the important information. And no reason given as to why it's been readvertised. I'll not be bothering.
