Mine has done over 4 years so not bad I suppose.
vanko25 70 Report post Posted January 28, 2018 Mine lasted 4 years too. It was okay when daily driving it back to work and back but it failed over Christmas. RRG Macclesfield replaced it with an uprated one as the original tiny baby was not completely up for the job.
Gary p 46 Report post Posted January 28, 2018 Yeah to be honest it has been struggling to start for a few months but just put it to lack of use. Definitely buggered. Hope it doesn’t mess up the ECU
vanko25 70 Report post Posted January 28, 2018 Don't worry about the ECU. The ECU will need few journeys to learn what driving style is. Also if you are changing it by yourself I think there was a procedure on how to learn the throttle pedal's top and bottom positions. Something like Ignition ON and then depress the pedal 5 times.
