dom2497 33 Report post Posted July 22, 2017 Has a dongle at the end which is coded to read certain can bus messages I would have thought plus a Bluetooth sender , takes some engineering to build these things hence the price. I see your point, and I kinda agree myself, but I know that HKS guys know what they're doing, and if I was to mess with ECU in ANY way, such as simply having a read out, then I wouldn't trust some eBay OBD ports.
