Thanks for the tips on this Gentlemen.

I also ordered 10 litres with a 30% discount code that I found on the web, total was £10.77 including postage.

I then got the Email prompting me to buy an oil filter with a 15% discount code; the discount code didn't work, but I used the 30% discount code and that worked fine, so I got a Bosch oil filter for £4.12 including postage.

Looks like Euro Car Parts have now amended their mistake, the offer is now for 1 litre of oil and not 5 litres, same part code, see below:

So it will be interesting to see whether I get 10 litres or 2 litres delivered to me. My order confirmation clearly says 5ltr cans in the description, but the product code now corresponds to the 1ltr cans.

Yesterday, the 1 litre link was incorrectly showing 5 litres.

I think rob275 is right, I doubt that our orders will be honoured for 5 litres. If Euro Car Parts made a genuine mistake, then I don't think they have any legal obligation to fulfill the order.

Agree, they would have to take them back, but if I get 2* 1 litre bottles then I will probably buy another 4 litres  to make up enough for the next service, it's still a good price.

I can see how they can cancel it outright due to being a mistake. But I can't see how they could get away with supplying a different product to that ordered.

We've all had contact via customer services and they've not once said it was a mistake, and they've dispatched. We should be good.

Just had mine delivered and they sent me 2x 1litre bottles not 2x 5litres and for some reason I can't get on to my account at all the view the invoice plus the invoice in the box only states what type of oil it is not the amount so looks like I'm buggered!!

You should have an email of it? If they've sent 2x1 litre I'd just return it as an incorrect order. The order emails definitely state 5ltr.

Just got off the phone to them, they're claiming we ordered the wrong product while acknowledging we ordered 5 litres. Wouldn't sort it out.

I think you are legally entitled to return for a full refund under distance selling laws, for any reason.
