Hi everyone! So I was unfortunately in a minor crash going to work the other day. Slow speed, relatively small amount of damage, but annoying non the less. I've never been in a crash before, but I let my insurance know straight away, and they set things in motion to get the car inspected and fixed. The other party admitted fault at the time, and has also let her insurance know it was her fault. The question I have is; do I get my car fixed through my insurance or through hers? Her insurance have said they'll sort everything, Inc. Hire cars etc, so I was just going to do it through them, but my insurance have now called me back to say I won't be covered legally if her insurance fails to repair my car correctly (won't have any come back etc). Is this right? And on a related note, are there any good/proven body shops in the Midlands area I can suggest to either insurance company? Thanks!

So I'm coming up for renewal (£368 my current best. no extras, minimal excess), and I found the following in the policy docs: 8 6. Use on airfields We will not cover any injury, loss, damage or liability caused by using your car in any area where aircraft are normally found to be landing, taking off, moving or parked. Apparently they've figured out the only places left for us to hoon about. Very disappointing! I know these airfield events are typically non-competitive and only have one car loose at a given time, but it annoys me all the same.

So I phoned my insurers (Admiral) and the inevitable has happened, they don't insure anyone with superchargers or any FI. So why the f*ck is it listed on your site? tools. So i compared the market, I do this not for the best deal but to get average prices. Bet came back £1306 22, 23 in feb with 4 years NCB in an area that is regrettably getting a worse crime rate by the day. I phones Sky and Luke managed to get a quote of £1280, reasonable? I'm currently paying £780 all mods declared with admiral, I'm not sure how much it would generally up the price. I assume its a fair hike due to my age and the shitty area.
