  1. Took me a few weeks to decide on an exhaust to go for, decided on a Miltek non-res catback. I bought a used one for just £190. Was aware of the issues with cracking, but I had a good lookover the exhaust and couldn't see any signs of a crack - fingers crossed it stays that way. I've had Miltek on several other cars and never had a problem. Put together a short before, after and drive-by video to give a rough idea of sound. Only other mod is the HKS panel filter. Audio is a bit pants.

    Part Out Thread

The time has come for me to sell my 86, so I'm selling off all my parts to try and make a bit of money back on them. I haven't taken anything off the car yet so no pictures yet, but I'll get them up as and when I get around to taking them off, a long with a price when I can check the condition of the bits. I'll have for sale: -Tein Flex A coilovers, these have only been on the car for a few months and only covered a few thousand miles - Sold -Invidia R400 2.75" catback exhaust, again only been on the car for a few months. Great sound with very little drone, with titanium tips that look awesome. - Sold -18x9.5 Enkei RPF1s - Sold -Full JDM Black interior trims, these are from the JDM Base model, they replace every bit of silver trim including the TC buttons. - Sold -Valenti Red/Clear Tail Lights, the sequential model. Sold -TRD Style Fender garnishes, ordered from thespeedline but never fitted - Gone I'm sure theres a few other bits but I'll post them up when they're off the car. I'd prefer collection from Birmingham but I can post some of the smaller things out. Again I'll get pictures of the individual parts as soon as I get around top taking them off.
  5. For Sale: Invidia N1 catback exhaust and Apexi stainless steel exhaust under panel I have for sale my old Invidia N1 catback exhaust, was on the car for around 2 years so I think it has done around 20k miles. Fairly loud exhaust as straight-through mufflers. It has the donut gasket connection, so will fit with stock front pipe. Selling this as I wanted a larger bore exhaust when I went TD Turbo Stage 2 (and fancied single exit) - nothing wrong with the exhaust other than I wanted a change! It was the titanium tipped exhaust, however this faded so I sprayed the tips black to give it a more aggressive look; high temperature exhaust paint on it. I took it off the car in early September (to replace with my Greddy 3") and it has been sitting in my house since then. Given it a polish to clean it up and re-sprayed the tips. since taking it off. If not happy, someone could sand it down and re-spray fairly easily. The weld on the name badge did break, and I have repaired this with epoxy so it won't do it again; completely out of sight under the car anyway. Needs new gaskets (can get easily from Tuning Developments, ebay etc), will have the bolts included (full disclosure: one or two are slightly tough to do up due to surface rust, however they still work with a bit of 'elbow grease'). Apexi stainless steel exhaust under panel Bought this from ft86speedfactory.com for around $350 inc shipping - originally designed for the Apexi N1 exhaust, I have modified slightly so that this fits the Invidia N1 without touching the exhaust. Creates a smoother airflow by plugging the gap between the exhausts cans and the rear bumper, covering the large empty space and removing that parachute effect. Does make rear end feel more planted after exhaust change. See my build thread for pics. Again I painted it black so it was near invisible. Includes all of the fittings. http://www.ft86speedfactory.com/apexi-stainless-steel-exhaust-under-panel-for-n1-1902.html#.Whs2pY6Uce0 Won't fit 'single muffler' style exhausts. I cannot guarantee fitment on other exhausts. Looking for £400 for exhaust & Apexi panel together. Open to offers. Collect from Cheam (Surrey) or buyer pays for postage. Happy to answer any questions! Paul
  6. Just swapping out my my berk muffler delete as I am having a new cat back fitted. Open to offers ideally looking around £180. Ideally collection only from cr3. Willing to post at buyers cost

  9. So I recently got myself a GT86 2012 and I am looking to get a decent sound out of this thing without spending a fortune on it. 700€ maximum! I've been recommended "invidia n1" once but I could only find it for 1,100€+. What should I do/get in order to achieve a decent sound with this amount of money. Is there some other modification I should prioritize ahead of this? The car I have is completely stock and has not been abused by its last owner.

    Cosworth catback

Cosworth catback up for sale. £400 I've not had it long since buying from another member on the forum but sadly my car is too low and the roads too bumpy, I don't want to scrape this exhaust and ruin a beautiful bit of kit so it's up for sale (and being replaced with a smaller diameter exhaust) My new exhaust won't be here for at least a week, maybe two so until that time comes I won't be able to ship out the Cosworth exhaust. I will however honour an agreement, if you want it I'll hold it and no money need change hands until it's off and ready to go. I will take better pictures once it's off the car First shout goes to those who showed an interest at JapFest Donny. Edit. This item is not new. I don't have the original purchase receipt and there's no warranty (not that anyone in their right mind would expect a warranty unless it's explicitly stated that it comes with a warranty on a second hand item. but no, no warranty. soz )
  12. Hayward and Scott non resonated centre section. Removed from the car, so I could get on quiet track days. Good condition. £100 Located in Hailsham or Henfield.
  13. Anyone selling an Invidia Q300 - a TRD - or an HKS Legamax exhaust?
  14. Anyone interested for a Milltek Resonated Cat-back exhaust? It has about 15.000 miles (20.000 km) on the clock and as you can see it's in great condition without any rust. The photos were taken when the clutch disk assembly was replaced a few months ago. Just needs polishing. I bought it about 700 pounds, so I'm thinking around 350 considering the good condition. Located in Athens - Greece, able to post everywhere
  15. For sale is my agency power exhaust. It's in a Pristine condition. Selling to fund FI. £400 ONO. Messages/questions welcome.

  19. Introducing the CGR Automotive Stainless Steel GT86/BRZ Exhaust. We're going to post up some pictures of the development system and go into some real depth to make sure we're clear on the extent we've gone to in order to make sure this is the best system on the market. Back-purge TIG welded to Aerospace standards; How the tube is prepared and welded is the most crucial part of the job. Every weld joint on our systems is TIG welded, however the difference between a good weld joint and a bad one is chalk and cheese. There are other systems on the market that have been TIG welded but none to this standard. The way we weld and fabricate our systems mean the joints are far stronger while being light and having NO restrictions. We could talk for hours about the fabrication process and how time consuming it is (we will tell you if you ask as long as you promise not to fall asleep). Differences between back-purged and none-purged welds when fully penetrated; As you can see back-purged welds leave no oxidisation. V-Band fittings The CGR system is held together with V-band connections not only to ensure an easy fitting and removal of the system V-bands are lightweight, with an extremely positive connection guaranteeing a perfect seal every time without the need for gaskets. This is usually a technique used in the motorsport market that we have used religiously in our race and road car systems since we began building exhausts as they are the perfect way to join the various exhaust components together. Fully Customisable for Individuality When we originally began developing the BRZ system, we 3D Laser-Scanned the underfloor of the car then CAD modelled the exhaust that we decided to run from the over-pipe backwards, removing the secondary CAT. To get that classic Japanese style we split the system down the middle and added two slightly upwards facing back boxes that are visible from the rear of the car. We then incorporated where the tailpipes and silencers would need to fit within the jigs, allowing for unlimited options to be spec'd without seriously affecting the construction process by using modular jigs, this allow us to adapt to fitting different silencer and tailpipe options. By having the CAD on-hand too, if we have any special requests that would not normally be catered for we can verify the amount of room and clearance we have in the CAD for whatever request we have without having to see the car or make modifications on the car. Split Pipe/Y-Pipe The pipe which splits the single system into two halfs is made in quite a special way, instead of just cutting two straight bits of tube together at an angle to separate the gas, we actually cut mandrel bends together at a perfect tangent to the rest of the exhaust. This is a lot of work and is possibly over-engineered however this gives absolutely no restriction and means the gas flows perfectly equally through both silencers before leaving the car. We felt that the extra work involved was 110% worth it in order to make certain the system was completely un-compromised and there were absolutely no restrictions or "hot-spots" of exhaust pressure. We weld and pack our own silencers in house, so although they look small they are extremely effective as we pack them very well with quality packing. And finally, the tail pipes! We appreciate 5” straight cut pipes might not be everyone’s cup of Saké, so the tips are completely up to you. Tailpipes can be made however you like, slash cut, rolled in, rolled out, burnt, square, oval, whatever it is get in-touch and we can quote for it. Pricing; The way we're going to price the systems will be as following, there's going to be a standard retail price for a single system on it's own, a 15% discount on the groupbuy if we get over 5 orders, and a massive 25% discount if we get 10+ orders. The price will be a base price which will include the following;2.5" GT86 / BRZ Exhaust systemTwo rear silencers and one centre boxRace tailpipes of your chosen size (dull polished stainless tubes as pictured on demo system)Larger silencers and multiple silencer configurations can be spec'd, silencers can be removed e.t.c to make more or less noise.RRP £1135 Groupbuy 5+ £965 Groupbuy 10+ £851 All prices include VAT but exclude shipping or fitting. There's probably a few things we've missed off but feel free to ask any questions, whether it's commenting on the post, PM'ing us, emailing or calling we'll try our best to get back to you ASAP!Thanks for reading, and hopefully speak to you soon www.facebook.com/cgrautomotiveinfo@cgrautomotive.co.uk01709 530871
