My Blobeye Impreza was the exact same (relevance as Subaru box ) absolute nightmare to get from 3rd to 2nd when cold and sometimes impossible. wouldn't go into 1st unless totally still either. didn't bother me THAT much but did catch me out a few times at traffic lights/junctions. seemed to help by giving its a slight blip of throttle (like rev matching but not) just before engaging 2nd.

Love this series. Does anyone have any links to the re animated ones mentioned above?

Hey, Im Chris, currently got a 182 clio from Staffordshire. Always lusted after an AE86 and got mighty excited when the gt86 was announced to be released. Now im in a position to own a gt86 so thought i best join up here. had lots of different cars in the past, Impreza Prodrive, Mazda 3 MPS. Type R’s, toyota glanza V, mx5’s, e36. currently favoring the Gt86 but the fiesta ST is also a contender.
