  1. I drove mine in the snow a couple of years ago on standard tyres and it was no worse than a normal family hatchback. Very easy to control and never looked like getting stuck.
  2. I think the problem is that in a giant global company like Toyota nobody is able to make things happen outside of the accepted way. Some dealerships orders a part on the system and it arrives when the computer say's so. What you need is somebody ringing up the factory, the store room etc and asking a real person to circumvent that. They could easily select part and UPS/Fedex it and it be here tomorrow. Unfortunately, it just doesn't happen often enough in big companies.

    If I get another GT86....

This happened to my dad a few years ago and he did actually get pulled over twice. He works as a chauffeur so it wasn't particularly good for work. They did their roadside checks and he was on his way but you need to bear in mind that even if 12 months have elapsed the police may still have the reg in their system.

    Front Bumper

Hi, So rather annoyingly I did this yesterday. Any ideas as to where you can get a new front bumper? I have a similar scratch on the opposite side (i didn't do that one) and figured it may be easier to replace the whole thing. If not the original part do any aftermarket front bumpers replace the whole part rather than just a lip? Any help greatly appreciated, Mark p.s Merry Christmas!

    Touch & Go DAB options

I find this really strange. My GT86 has had the Toyota DAB unit for almost two years now as I had it fitted at the time of purchase in September 2012. It is just a window aerial which is on the top left corner of the windscreen. It might be worth noting that I paid £340 fitted at Toyota Reading. Also, worth noting is that it is currently not working and I need to book it in to be replaced.

    New Mustang

yeh the base Mustang starts at $22,200 which is about £14k. Cheapest 5.0L V8 is about $31k which is just under £20k. Imports to the UK end up being around £35k though due to VAT, import duty and the changes required to make it uk legal (e.g indicators from Red to Amber). Hopefully, with an official uk spec car and Fords scale this should bring the price down to sub-£30k.

    New Mustang

I'm very much interested in this when it arrives. I'm maybe a bit weird in that I love my 86 but at the same time love muscle cars. 2015 is perfect for when the finance is paid off so could keep the 86 and buy the 'stang! Independant rear suspension, right hand drive and vastly improved interior should make for a much improved proposition!
