Liking the build Martin and the tips on the dash speakers. I have some JBL p6560 2 ways and tbh it’s always sounded a bit hollow. πŸ‘πŸ˜Ž Totally unrelated, how do you find the 17x8 et35 with 225 45 17 tyres - is there any rubbing? I’ve not found many on here that run with 8” wheels and this little offset. Have you still got lowering springs, and how much lower than stock are they? Did you decrease camber to avoid rubbing? Trying to work out if new alloys I’m after will prevent me fitting coilovers later on. Thanks
  3. Dropped mine off this morning at RRG Macc. Excellent reception as always. Fingers crossed now while she's under the knife πŸ˜…

EL or UEL - that is the question!

Honestly I love it - sounds awesome & full of character now. It pulls so well - how have I managed without this for the last four years! Thoroughly recommended - I can't thank Mike @TD enough [emoji41][emoji106] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  10. Hi everyone, Been a very long time since I was on here but a change in lifestyle means I'll be a bit taking a more active interest [emoji15] After more or less 4 years completely stock my blue baby will be getting a present tomorrow - the TD manifold, remap, and catback treatment (for the time being lol) Question is - UEL or EL !!! I can't decide. EL sounds great but UEL has that burble right? Mike's been very cool about it but I need to commit in the morning [emoji12] Views please ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Oil filler cap left of by dealer! Advice pls!!!

Thanks all - good advice. Wish me luck!
  15. Hi all - not posted in a while... Put my pride and joy in for its first service last week (won't mention where ATM), and a week later after a 45 min run to Mcr Airport and back, & three short runs to the shops - I noticed a drip trail of oil onto my driveway. I popped the hood and omg The fuel filler cap was not screwed on (although carefully placed nearby resting on some of the cooling lines), and yes you've guessed it - oil everywhere!!! Checked underneath - oil everywhere!!! I checked the level - nothing on the stick. Not a drop. So I called the dealer, who immediately apologised, accepted responsibility and arranged to pick it up. During the week after the service I had no warning lights btw, no smell, engine noises other than the usual purr etc. Am awaiting a diagnosis. They have fed back that having filled it up with a measured amount of oil to the max level, drained it all out they calculate approx 2.5l of the 5.4l remained in the engine. They are relieved but confident there has been no damage and will provide written assurance they will underwrite any subsequent problems. Anyway - my question oh oracles of internal combustion - what checks should I ask them to do in addition to assure me that it will not fail as a result of any damage suffered? Thanks as ever
